|Angelena G Moore||Kanipe Connection|
I have a Family Tree under Gibbens Family Tree.
Henry Kanipe was my Great Great Grandfather.Sarah M Kanipe was his sister.I live in Virginia near where Daniel is buried.I love it when I can make connections with kin.Take a look at my tree because I have a lot on the Kanipe family and pictures also. My Grandmother was Loucretia Kanipe and she was a twin to Louise Kanipe and they married brothers Oscar West & Felix West.Their father was Henry Kanipe who married Lucy Hunt( Lucinda).So glad to have found you .I have been doing this for about 35years.

Hi Butch im JC Ledbetter's grandson. I saw a pic while searching names that it says it is on ancestry.com. I dont have an account on there and was wondering if you are the one who posted it. It is of uncle Ab and the 4 Ledbetters. If it is yours, could you email me a copy? I would love to have a copy. Thanks.

I have entered the memorial for Virginia. She was the wife of Phillip Nolan Head. You placed a photo on the memorial for Phillip that includes the attached headstone for Virginia. I wondered if you would please also add it to Virginia's memorial. I would do it, but Find A Grave forbids adding someone else's photos to another memorial.
Just in case you need it, here is Phillip's memorial # 42574265. If you are unable to do it, please let me know.

Butch, thanks so much for your kindness in photographing my great-grandfather's headstone and marker. I have a b&w family photo of his headstone but not the marker. Now we have current photos of both, and they seem to be in remarkable condition! Thank you again, Steve Gallimore

Thank you very much Butch. Did you by chance write down what they say? It's really hard to see. Also, you mentioned other photos, could you tell me where they are? Any information on her parents, spouse, and children is very much appreciated.

I appreciate your efforts to try to photograph King's grave marker for me. There is such a discrepancy with records as to his real last name. I made a note in his bio that his marker was not located. Thanks from another Barrett!

Alvin was already linked prior to your SAC. Also noted that Alvin is under your management so you would be the only one who could possibly link him. Possibly something else you needed added?

Hi, Would you add July 1, as the date of his death. He was killed on the first day of fighting at The Battle of Gettysburg and is buried on the battleground there.
Thank you so much for that tidbit of information. It was added to the memorial along with credit to you for it. PLease do mot hesitate to send anything that may further enhance anything I have added.

|John Shuck||RE: Daniel Summitt|
The stone with the numbers marks plot numbers for that row of graves. There are individual graves but most graves do not have a gravestone. Daniel Summitt's grave has no marker of any kind. Hollywood Cemetery records list the plot for most Civil War burials. You can see their records online at http://www.webcemeteries.com/Hollywood/
A free gravemarker can be ordered from the government. Hollywood charges a small fee to set the stone. I think it was $100 the last time I checked.

I have your notes on two Head memorials in Mountain Creek. I am not related, and am happy to transfer to you, if you like. I have to ask, because not everyone wants a transfer :). Anyway, let me know if you want the transfers.
