|Sidney||RE: Anthony Orsini|
I wasn't offended, just confused and hoping I hadn't messed up somehow. I am so sorry that you have had unpleasant experiences with some Find A Grave volunteers. Like any organization we have our good, bad, and indifferent individuals; but I like to hope that most of us are just trying to help people connect more of their family puzzles.I don't understand those people who are worried about how many memorials they've made or manage or whatever. I LOVE transferring to family or friends or even researchers who will care for the memorials. I'm far more concerned with accurate than with ownership. I hope most of your F.A.G. experiences are far more friendly.

I'm a little confused. When I made a memorial for Anthony Orsini I was unaware of you having made one since I didn't find any Orsinis listed in the cemetery. It certainly doesn't matter who has made more memorials, if yours was made first and you want to edit the burial I will remove mine. As long as there is a memorial in the correct cemetery that is all that matters.

|Family Tree Climber||RE: Thank you|
Kind words such as yours make the time I spend on site so worth while, and the words are very much appreciated. If you need more information about that family, let me know who it is, and I'll see if I can find more information for you.

Thanks for your reply. From what I've read in the Help files, members have to agree amongst themselves who will take ownership of a memorial page when there are cases of duplicates. I do see an email on his/her user page: firstname.lastname@example.org.
I'm not sure if I'm related to your Wolfe line. My maternal grandfather is a Wolfe. We descend from Adam Edward "Paddy" Wolfe (1771-1851) from Hardy County, Virginia. Our relatives today are in Barrackville, Morgantown, and Grant Town in West Virginia (all in Marion county, formerly Virginia pre-Civil War). Does any of that sound familiar? I'm finding a lot of Johns, Jacobs, and Johannes in the line, which is confusing.

I'm not related to them. I like to find people and then transfer them to family if I can.
Both of them are transferred to you now :)
Have a great day!!
Thanks for understanding and working with me too

|cataholic4ever||RE: George Wolff|
Technically that is what they call "Plopping" lol strange name I know.
But the memorial in the correct cemetery first is supposed to be the one that stays and any other memorials are not supposed to be "plopped" into a cemetery when the stone is found by someone else or if another memorial has been added in a cemetery.
Yours should be deleted actually.
The best way to do this would be to delete yours for him and then I can transfer the ones I made of him and his wife to you. How does that sound?
Just let me know
Have a great day!

Hi, did you move a memorial for him into Greenwood cemetery recently?
When I photographed the cemetery I had to make a memorial for him and his wife since they weren't there at that time. And I added the gravestone. Now there are two of him there. And the numbers went up on the cemetery but aren't showing a "new" memorial.
If that happened it would be better to get a transfer than move some one. If that is not the case then I offer a sincere apology.

|Candie Freeman||James Bias|
No Eleanor, please don't delete your entry on James R. Bias. The Find A Grave index now appears on Ancestry.com and your entry has been there for a long time. It's the one that needs to remain. If you remove it, it will disappear on Ancestry.com too. You can always transfer your entry, but that is not necessary either. It's important that he's posted and in the right cemetery :)

|Carrie Bias Hoffert||Lindsey F Bias Memorial, your Flowers|
I saw you left flowers on the memorial in Culloden Cemetery for my Great Grandfather, Lindsey Bias. Thank you so very much.
As his mother was Cassandra Vest....I wonder are you related?
There are many Bias/Byas, Noel and Vest marriages over the years.
