Hello Rick,

I have question about the photo on this profile,
Cesaire Miller is my great, great grand father. Where was this photo found?

Are you a relative of Cesaire Miller?

I have put much of the family tree in, this is a free website, and I have added his photo to his profile there.

Thank you,
Mildred Guilbeau Sevario

Levi Swearengin photo
I saw you posted the copy of Levi and Sarah on Levi's Memorial. I would like to replace it. Not with another picture but with a much better copy of the one you posted. I will go ahead and post mine and if you agree that it's much better then you can remove yours if not feel free to leave yours up. They are my gg-grandparents. The copy I have was taken by me 40 years ago with a 35mm camera with 25 asa B/W copy film and 2 500 watt flood lights. I have a negative, multiple prints, and a digital copy. I hope I have in no way offended you and just wanted you to know I had a better copy.

Thank you, Steve

wrong photo posted
Rick, on memorial # 69912355 Delila Jane Bookout Swearengin you have posted a photo of Jesse Wood Swearengin and his wife Elsie Mabel Roberts. I descend from all three families and have an original copy of the photo. Wood was my great grandfather Swearengin's brother and Elsie was my great grandmother Martha Roberts Moses sister. Both of my parents are Bookout descendants Thanks, Richard

Rick, thank you so much for helping others through your work with Find A Grave. You help so many people through this work. It especially means a lot to people like me who, because of age and poor health, can no longer visit cemeteries.
I am still working (since the 1980's) on my family genealogy trying to get it as nearly correct as I possibly can so that my descendants and others connected may be able to see their heritage. I hope you won't mind my using copies of your photos on my family files. Thank you in advance. May God richly bless you in your helping of others.

Photos copied from eBay
I see you have copied several photos from an antique album currently for sale on eBay and posted them at findagrave. I had planned to buy that album and resell the photos individually, but since you have posted many of its photos, nobody would buy them from me. Just wanted to let you know that you cost that seller $129. BTW, posting photos from eBay or Etsy or anywhere else without permission is against findagrave rules.

Thanks for the picture of Marmaduke. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Woolbright, who is in my family. You do not happen to have a picture of her or the family, do you? Thanks again.

I see on the above mentioned memorial that you placed a picture. This is my grandmother on my Mother's side. I had never seen this picture before and am wondering if you were related to my Grandmother and her daughter, my Mother Martha Jane Miller Duff....I am the youngest child of Martha and was priveleged to meet Grandma Miller when I was five years old, Also my entire family had traveled from Idaho when Grandma took sick, and I was present when she passed on. My mother asked for the bolster pillow grandma passed away on. Years later, when recovering the bolster pillow, they found a "feather crown" perfectly formed and intact. I would love to know how you came into possession of the picture, and will give you sincere thanks and appreciation for your doing so. Grandma passed on at 88 years and my Mother at the age of 99 and three quarters months....Sincerely, DeLoy William

RE: Joseph Newton Spence
I sent a quick note before I researched back through my orig post to you and why I did what I did. Seems that there were duplicates of which yours did not have a gravesite. There wasn't anything related to dates, photographs or the like. The point was to have a photo on whomever decided to keep the memorial. As a contributor to Find A Grave and a retired Accountant it was important for information to be exact. I have found that since my retirement I have continued this dedication and exactness in my ancestry hobby. As I mentioned I will make sure that all I have is accurate prior to my posts in the future.
