James Albert Clary Find A Grave Memorial# 73359125
Please change the burial cemetery for James Albert Clary Find A Grave Memorial# 73359125 from Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Wyandotte, KS to Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson, MO. That is the burial location of his wife. I called the KC, MO cemetery and verified he is buried there in Sec 16, Lot 32m Space 4.

John Coder #57258797
Alician. There are two Jacob Franklin Coders shown as sons of John Coder (1813-1898), Memorial #57258797.

Jacob Franklin Coder (1833-1916) buried in Washington Cemetery, Kansas, Memorial #37339826 should be shown as the son of John Coder. This would be consistent with the research of the 'John Coder Family' that was published by Shirley Coder Wood.

Jacob Franklin Coder (1836-1916) buried in Nevada Cemetery, Memorial #64620772, I suspect is incorrectly connected to this John Coder. Very likely, the two Jacobs are related, but I'm still searching for this connection.

Cheers, Don

William R Coder
I was reviewing my edits that I recently submitted for William R Coder (#37339894) andI unfortunately, made an incorrect connection to his grandparents John & Agnes Coder

William's parents should be changed to father W.W. Coder (#103004924) and mother Livona Butler (#103004925).

Thank you and I appreciate your effort. Cheers, Don

Paul Messina
Adaline Ellis
Hi, Paul Messina here. New to Ancestry and this site.
My wife's family is Ellis on her moms side. I have traced back to Annetta (Stevenson)marries Charles M Ellis in March 1859.
I am finding Charles parents to be Adeline and Cebery or some records show Seberry Ellis.

Also found they were married 12/8/1842.
However I have her born 1n 1845 with a son Charles born in 1859. If this is right she was 14 when Charles was born.
This from the 1880 census Bates County, Missouri.

The grave site picture and info do not match up even though other items do.

Can you help with any clarification????
Thanks, Paul

Hi Alician, I noticed that on this site you have "Burial unknown" (Same on his wife, Amy's) and in the cemetery at Fairview, Bedford, Taylor Co., IA you (Alician) have the same people with the burial known.
Maybe the sites need to be merged. Thanks, Russ.

Minnie Augusta (Gussie) Black
I am the daughter of Lois Fay Webster. I am researching Minnie Black who married Robert Webster. Records show that they were married in Cass County TX and were Still there in 1920. I found A Texas record that said Robert died in Hunt County TX. I think they may have died in Cass and were buried in Hunt because Robert's Mother was a Simmons. Some of children were in the orphanage in Fort Worth in the 1930 census. Can you help with any proof as to where they died. Is there a Family Bible. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Sandra

Hi. Thank you for all your contributions to FindaGrave. Could you have taken the photo for this stone #38346824 at a different cemetery? There is no record that she was buried at Double Branch Cemetery, only the other 3 Haskins. Other volunteers that have recorded the cemetery have not found the stone there. Thank you for your time.

It has come to my attention that I inadvertently associated an ancestor of mine to the incorrect cemetery & that in correcting that mistake, there are now two entries for this ancestor. I am referring to your memorial entry #76309064 for Roy Vernon Magers at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Parkville, Platte Co., Missouri, and my entry #50325205 for the same. I would like to confer with you in the best way to combine these two memorial entries since we both have associated other family members to each of these memorials and would appreciate your input. Roy was my grandmother's 1st cousin.

William Nelson Bellew
I am looking for the burial place of William Nelson Bellew son of John Bellew and Cincinnati Q. Dunkerson Bellew. I believe he died around September 1897 Gallatin Twp. Clay Co., Missouri.
I keep thinking he might have been buried in same cemetery as his parents? His wife Mary Allen Munson Bellew who died in 1914 Gardner, Johnson Co., KS.
Do you know who the Sexton of Cemetery of Gladstone Cemetery might be that I can write to them?
Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Della Cook
Yes, please do take a picture if you go. I'm new to find a grave so I'm still learning to find my way around the site. I have sent out for a request on the site for a photo, but I don't know if it will happen or not. So, I would appreciate it if you can get one for me.

Della Cook Cardinal
I am searching for this ancestor of my husband's and I saw that you left a note. The dates that show here are exact to the woman I am searching for. I didn't find a picture of her marker and I am wondering if you might have one. Do you happen to know anything about this woman? I believe her to be the daughter of Julie Elizabeth Ann Patton and I believe from the information that I have been given that her father's name was James George Washington Cook. I am hoping that you might have detailed information on Della.

Thank you

Pitchfords @ Double Branch
Are you willing to transfer the Pitchfords @ Double Branch to me, a family member, no matter how far removed, however I do understand you are not willing to transfer those related to yourself.

I want to update everybody but that would be a lot of edits. If you want to keep them, that would be great if you don't mind doing the edits.

Thanks Alician.

Tony Meyers
Request for permission to use images
My name is Tony Meyers and I volunteer at The Clay County Archives and Historical Library. This non-profit, all volunteer organization is based in Liberty, Missouri. In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War we are working to publish a book containing information on Union, Confederate and Home Guard soldiers who are buried in Clay County. We are nearing completion of the research phase of the project and are beginning to pull together text and images for the book.

The purpose of my note is twofold. First, to thank you for your contributions to Find-A-Grave has been a valuable source of information for our project. And second, to seek your permission to reproduce in the book, some of the gravestone photos that you have contributed to Find-A-Grave. When possible, we hope to include a photo pertaining to each soldier. Leveraging Find-A-Grave photos will be a big help to our project since approximately 800 veterans will be highlighted in the book. All proceeds from the book will remain with The Clay County Archives and be used to continue the ongoing operation of the organization.

Thank you once again for your work on and thank you in advance for considering our request for permission to utilize some of the wonderful photographs that you have created.

Tony Meyers
