RE: Gracie Jane Armstrong Riggs
always good to talk to you.
I am 85-3/4 and going strong(86 in October)
Someone on Facebook called me "Ancient"

Have been trying to work on the Armstrong-Riggs
connection so I can enter info on my Kinfolks Website. There were lots of Moses Armstrongs and
two James Armstrongs and a Julius Armstrong.

Gracie Jane Armstrong Riggs
Wasn't Gracie Jane Armstrong born in 1857?
Cause she married Thomas Riggs in 1875.
and had children after that.

RE: Loudermilk family
I am so sorry about not responding before now. I visit Find a Grave almost everyday but I never log in. Consequently I have messages all the way back to 2011 that I didn't know I had. I found them all today by accident and I wasn't logged in today either.
Malinda was my second great grandmother. Her daughter Margret married William Melville Foust They were of course my first great grandparents. Their son Roy Arlington Faust was my grandfather.

R. D. Lunsford
Selma Cemetery fully photographed ..
Hello Marcene,
Check out the "Selma Cemetery" - most of the historic old cemetery is now fully photographed of all known grave stones. There are many however, that are not marked with any marker or gravestone. Please visit again and spread the word because this old cemetery is full and rich of history and many individuals buried at this cemetery are ancestry to so many in south Arkansas and beyond. Thanks!!

James Monroe Owens
There are several of us that are doing research on the OWENS family. James Monroe Owens is a direct ancestor through his mother Sophia OWENS. I sent you the link to her memorial and Felps Bolin to be listed on his memorial. Do you have information that you could share with our family. The photo I posted has James "Jim" with his Aunt and cousins. I have not been able to locate s marriage record for Sophia and Bolin, but have found mentioned in a Bolin history that they were married. James obviously chose to live under the name of Owens. We would love to hear any information you may give us. Thank you.

RE: charles nelson
Hi Marcene,

I did locate John and Julias graves, but there is no marker for Charles near them. Now that I have a middle initial, I will call my contact on Monday and see if Charles is unmarked. It does look as if there could be a grave to the right of Julia. I do have a copy of their headstone if you would like it. As soon as I find more information I will let you know.. Have a wonderful day..

Margarete Heskett

Wanted you to know that I have added Ms. Margarete's full name. I have linked George W. Heskett, Jr. to his parents, George Sr. & Lovie. I'm did not have a George Ralph Heskett in this cemetery.

Would you please go this his memorial and send a correction asking me to add him to his parents (please put their memorial numbers on your request).

I will be more than happy to do the linking. Thank you, Judi

Jason Long
Clarence Ledbetter burial location
I was surveying Evergreen Cem. in Ranger, TX and photographed the tombstones of Clarence and Nettie Ledbetter there. You already had a page built for Nettie, but said that Clarence was buried in Ranger Cem. This appears to be in error as I photographed his joint tombstone as well as his military marker in Evergreen Cem. You can view them at #69607679.

Cordially, Jason Long
