Rachel Keller
RE: Henry Keller
I have never seen this statement on Henry. It has been suspected Frederick of Juanita Co, Pa was a brother but no proof. I am skeptical to some extend as thought Henry is said to have served in the Rev. War. he did not. He paid taxes and offered supplies. Capt. Hudson's Troop were men who were ordered to report based on their neighborhood but not all served. This statement reminds me of the same statement in the Henry Keller book, which is false. Also that Frederick would be the father and have no son or grandson named after him makes me wonder where the information came from. The naming pattern is quite strict in these German/Swiss Families. And there are no Frederick's on our Henry's lineage.
A lady in Pa. who is a descendant of Frederick Keller has submitted her DNA to see if we can match it against my brothers [will let you know]. Henry was born in York...Hudson's troop was from York and Frederick's was from Lancaster.
Interesting however.
The Jacob Keller who died in 1791 has always been my first choice for a father to Henry and Jacob did have a son Christopher who administered his will..
What are your thoughts??

Mark Sayre
Anna Lloyd Sayre
Wife of Rueben (Sayer) Sayre, 1779-1842. The find-a-grave record for Anna says she was born 1773, died 1840. I look at the picture of the worn stone and it looks to me like it might say died 1849. I cannot see birth info in the picture. Is there any way you could verify in person better than the picture shows? The facts just do not add up. Her 7 children were born between 1808-1832. If born 1773, she gave birth to children between age 35-59. Per cemetery find-a-grave record, parents were born 1765 & 1769 (I think, can't toggle back). With both of these facts, the alternate Ancestry birth & death of 1783-1849 seems like a better fit. Obviously, children's dates and parent's dates could both be off, but I am just trying to work with what I have available. Also, I know there is snow on the ground and it's really cold, so this request can obviously wait for better conditions. Thanks for your advice and consideration.

Larry K
Hello, due to a Find A Grave web problem on 6/21/2014, your picture was posted on the wrong memorial (& mine was deleted).
Would you please remove the picture from the above memorial if it isn't Dorothy.
Thanks, Larry

I just made the transfer, as he is not directly related to me. I am related to Albert Merillat, though, as he was married to Marie Yarlott, who was my second cousin, three times removed. Please feel free to contact me if you with.

Best regards,

Kistner, Kibler, Merillat pics
The pictures of the headstones are so nice of these lines. Could I please put them on my account for these people? My daughter in law is a Kistner and she's is so happy to see them online. We take a lot of Find A Grave pictures too and they really add to the sense of history. Your permission would certainly be appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Thank you
Hi Sue:

How are you doing and your family doing? Nancy's daughter, Stephanie, is doing family history, so I started reviewing this website. I was surprised to see pictures of the headstones. When I saw Grandma & Grandpa's wedding picture, I was shocked. I did not know who Accountessa was. Once I looked closer and read some messages, it made sense to me.

Thanks for taking pictures and for sharing.

Take care,

RE: Merillats
Hi Sue,

Marvin and I had such fun with your folks. I was saddened to see your mother had passed away. Am hoping your dad is doing well. Please give him my good wishes.

This is a very nice thing you are doing. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to vent my grief. I was pleased to see the picture of the tombstone with all the names.

Bud and Leola kept us from going crazy on the farm sometimes. Marvin's parents were very nice people, but very different from what I was used to. I can remember lots of nights playing eucher with your folks and sharing drinks and laughs!

I was married to Marvin for six years and spent lots of time with him, Millard, Evelyn and Lou Ann on the farm in Archbold back in the early 70s. I was saddened to hear of Millard's passing.
