RE: Thanks for the links for Rose Hill cemetery in Missouri Valley, Iowa
You are surely welcome. I couldn't believe my eyes when I was going down the list in that Rose Hill book and saw she wasn't on FindaGrave. Ron Rader is planning to go to Rose Hill this weekend, and I did put out a photo request for Bessie.

Thanks for the links for Rose Hill cemetery in Missouri Valley, Iowa
I appreciate them--I have found two more members of the Roden family buried there, and am working on the bio for one of them (Bessie Stemple). I also was able to add plot numbers (I have a cemetery book)

Silas McKinney
You have Silas McKinney #50217480 in Pollard Cemetery, McCurtain County, Oklahoma. You need to check on this. Where did you get that he's buried in Pollard Cemetery? (1) His name is not in the Pollard Record Book (2) I have the McCurtain Gazette obituary for Silas and it has that he was buried in the Philadelphia Cemetery (near Goodwater in McCurtain County). You probably need to change the name of the cemetery from Pollard to Philadelphia. Note: I have taken pictures in both of these cemeteries, but didn't find a grave marker for him in either one. But I don't think he's in Pollard. Thanks

Wilmina "Mina" Kirkland McKeown
I added a photo of her gravestone at Rose Hill in Missouri Valley, Iowa. The photo was taken on 19 Mar 2015, so it looks a little wintry. I have added this stone to my list to go back and take a picture with sunshine and green grass (if I can).

Also, Thomas McKeown's name is on the stone, but there is no death date. Was he buried here? I didn't add a memorial for him, so if you would care to do so; I can add the gravestone photo.

RE: Checked your suggestion
Hi, Cathy! As far as I know my husband isn't related to the Shirks or the Thompsons. Dave is the one with all the Union County ancestors. Mine all came between 1870 & 1890 and settled in Nebraska and Colorado. Scott and I became acquainted several years ago and he has since helped us photograph Price and Oakdale cemeteries. I consider him a friend, though he could as easily be thought of as one more grandson. ;-)

George W Roadhouse married Emma Rock. Looks like they had some kids and then were divorced, then she married Victor W Hemphill, our relative!!!

Check out what I have done so far.

I have Victor on the web site as burial unknown. He died in San Bernadino County, CA.

Can you write me directly? Is Victor in your Bible? He is from your end of the line.

I have another lady writing me, and I would like you to join into the discussion.

Hi, Cathy - Great job. I see you added my uncle.
I was not informed when he passed away.

And I have lost touch with some members of that part of our family. His wife was my half aunt. She was quite active in doing research for our family. My grandfather had two wives and about 10 children in all. He also raised his sister's kids. They lived all over. But they had a HUGE house at one time in Charleston. I hope to add the picture of that house when my computers get fixed a bit.

Henry and his wife visited us in California at one point. She was also a member of DAR, as am I.

How on earth did you find his obit? That's wonderful!!!

Maude E. Hunt in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, OH
I posted an overview photo for Maude but unfortunately she has no marker so I placed a pink pot at the location of Block 24, Lot 194, grave 7. Please look at the caption as I have included everyone in the lot. I also created memorials for Carl Bayse and wife Gertrude (who possibly is the daughter of Maude Hunt that you are looking for). Again, Gertrude has no marker but I have placed an orange flower at the location of Block 24, Lot 194, Grave 8. I would be happy to transfer the Bayse memorials if you wish. I also posted photos for Maude's parents, John & Eliza Hemphill, since they were also in the same lot. You will notice there is a A. Laura Hemphill buried next to them. I hope this helps with your research.

RE: You left flowers!
Hi Cathy, No, I am not related but my husband was. His mother was Frances Ann Ferrell, daughter of David Music, son of Thomas Jefferson, son of William Shadrack, son of John, son of Wiliam C., and others befor them. I have been into genealogy for about 20 years and love finding relatives on my side as well as my husband. His name was William Blair Mulvaney and passed away in 1986 as the result of an on the job accident. I found Joseph Holly Ferrell in my search for the Ferrells in my tree. I try to leave flowers on all family memberss that I find. To me that serves two purposes, one it lets other family members know that their loved ones are still thought about and second, when I run across that family name again I know immediately that I have been there before. This helps in my search and I almost always go there again because additions are always being added. It is good to hear from you and to know that you also return to the same sites often. A relative-in-law from Kansas.

Reverend Larry

Thank you for the information. I have linked mom and dad and have asked MGR of son to link him to his folks. I am currently in the process of indexing and then uploading 7,000 pictures of grave markers in my area. It has been a fun project. We have 1,500 uploaded and hope to have all uploaded by end of March.
We have discovered some wonderful things.
