Thank you
Thank you for the photo of the remains of the gravestone for Joseph Hicks. I think it drives home the point of how important this digital gravestone project really is!

John Hamilton Willis obituaries
I sent you two obituaries for John Willis which appeared in the same issue (on different pages) of the newspaper in Grand Island, Nebraska in 1935 (Feb. 9). There are several points of disagreement between the two obits. You almost would not know they are the same person. But each relates different info too. Hope you know how to sort it out.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 47125222
I am in possession of the actual photo itself, given to me from my great grandmother's collection of family photos. My great grandmother is Ella Alberta (Bertha) Brewer Exby & Francis A. Daily is her maternal grandfather. The reverse side of the photo has a handwritten note in blue script that states: "My Grandfather Francis Asbury Daily". This side also notes the photographer (from W.J.B. Luther, Art Palace, east side of Public Square, rooms over Stewart's Drugstore, Greensburg, Ind.).

Emeline Zumwalt Sontheimer
I saw where you added a photo to Emeline Zumwalt Sontheimer's memorial in Mount Auburn Cemetery, St. Joseph, Buchanan County, Missouri, so I assume you are related to her? If you are, do you know how she met her husband and when she left Calhoun county, Illinois? Thanks for your help!

Hi there,
Thanks for the message. I took the headstone photos for the Ramage's last year. I looked up thier burial info and this is all I know:

Thomas Ramage, buried in Section 3, Block 9.
Mary H. Ramage, buried in Section 3, Block 9.
Cecil Ramage, buried in Section 3, Block 9.
Janet A. Ramage, buried in Section 3, Block 9.

Annabel Ramage, buried in Section 3, Block 7.
Russel J. Ramage, buried in Section 3, Block 7.

If memory serves me correctly, the first four Ramages are buried side by side.
And I believe the other two are near-by, although not in the same Block, they are in the same section.

There is also a listing for a Grace R. Ramage, buried in Section 9, Block 58.

If there isn't a memorial for her, you can make one and I can get the photo, just request it. I am going there this week anyway for another request. Also, I can go back to the Ramage section and verify how close by the family is to one another, if you like, I know the section very well.

Also, my headstone photos are under copyright to Find A Grave. Once I upload them to this site, they then become the property of Find A Grave. And it's my understanding that it is illegal to copy the photos. My main concern is my personal photos of my family, not the headstones that I take of non-family members. People take the headstone ones, anyway, my work is all over, and they never asked either my permission, or Find A Graves. But, I doubt that anyone will raise a fuss if you copy the Ramage headstones.

Let me know if you want the photo for Grace Ramage.
