RE: Wiegand markers
Not a problem at all. I figured with 3 of them in the plot that at least 1 would have a marker. Usually in a family plot the first or 2nd one to pass has a marker and the last one doesn't have one. So it was a surprise to me as well they didn't have one.

Thank you for contacting me! Mike is the guru for Mt. Calvary and I assume he has checked what records that he has. I would think that the next step would be to check out the parish records. Have you already done that? I also ASSUME that they went to St. Mary's? I have a bit of their records scanned and will look at them when I get back in town.

ENJOY DOING...I always like seeing name differences...as I had done Frank and Odelia HAUCK in same cemetery, then given the location you gave seeing name on stones gave me a chuckle...see a lot of this.

RE: Harshburger Photos
You are very welcome. The cemetery is on private property and I had been hoping to arrange a time to go and get permission to view the cemetery for quite some time. I am glad we could arrange to visit. Many of the stones have been lost to time since the cemetery was transcribed in the early 1960's. We photographed all we could find to save them forever. Luckily, the stones you requested were still visible! Jenean

Lucretia Cook
Lucretia Cook is my great, great grandmother. When I was 16 years old I talked with Rose McAnelly who had lived with "Criss" when she was newly married to Jacob Smith McAnelly, Lucretia's grandson.
Lucretia was age 17 in the 1850 U.S. Census of Roane County, Tennessee, but in subsequent census got progressively younger! In the 1860 US Census, Roane County, Tennessee, she is listed with my great, great grandfather as being only 22.
I have taken her age in 1850 because she is listed with her siblings and it would have be apparent if she were 7 instead of 17 years of age.
It is funny how she "grew younger" as the years passed and no one seemed to know her actual age to put on her death certificate. My own grandmother Lille Mae McAnelly looked very young and never revealed her actual age when she was older. She intimated that her grandchildren were actually her children when out among strangers.
