You are so welcome. I apologize for the delay. This cemetery waited 7 weeks. I went in again to see if they were done. Nothing had been done. Manager please. Done overnight. I picked them up and took the pictures that day. Good luck with your search. Hugs

I posted the photo. I just noticed the photo has a haze to it. If you wish a better copy please let me know. Sorry. Also is there a memorial for Mamie (Mary)? If not if you wish to create one I will add the photo to it as well. If there is please advise which one is correct and I will add it to that one. Thanks

I attempted to fulfill your photo request for Michael B. Baker today in Coolville Cemetery, Athens County, Ohio (#42901316). I located a marker with Michael B. and Mamie C. Baker, but no dates. Would this be the right marker you were looking for? If so I will post the photo. Thanks

A little explanation. The Mary Rise stone on the right is the BACK side of her stone. Catherine is buried in the plot on the side I am standing of behind Mary Rise's stone, and a smidgen bit to the left, towards the Powers stone. They have rows back to back in this section, aka one stone butts to the back on another stone (or plots back to back). So it's a regular sized plot, just no stone. If it were proper in this row, you would see the Powers stone on the right butting up against another stone, then two stones back to back to the right of the Powers stone, and then another stone (for Catherine) almost butting up against Mary Rise's stone. Hope that makes sense enough. There are a LOT of stones missing in Section M.
By the way, I did a bunch in Section T that day, too! However, it is very, very hot this weekend, so I will bet that Kenny and I will go back up there tomorrow. When we do, I will take a pic of Delia's plot - I made a note of it for you.

I'm sorry to inform you that Frank is buried there, but has no marker. I also had the records keeper check the books, and confirmed there is no marker.

Hello again Mary Louise, a very kind Find A Grave member "Rob" provided a photo of the marker for Dennis and it has the birth date as May 25, 1940, so I guess the mystery is solved. Cheers, MS

|LynnS||RE: Virgil A Waller|
Thanks for your suggestion to add Chester to Virgil's memorial page. Unfortunately I can't add the link as it would have to be done via Chester's page by that manager. I have attempted to contact them but there is no response. I added the info to Virgil's "Bio".

Noticed that the photo of Rebecca's deteriorated stone added to your memorial was much worse than one I had taken in 2003. Just wanted to let you know! I am related to the Aston and McGary families in that cemetery, but when I saw Rebecca's I wanted to take a photo before it got any worse, figuring that someday it might be of value to someone. Seeing the one added to the memorial made me glad I did take it back then! ~Jo

Hi Mary Louise,
I added a memorial for Robert James Shackelford, Jr. who would be my second cousin as well as his wife and son. I have requested photos on Find A Grave in case I can't get there for some time. Thank you for your info, do you have a birth date for Dennis?

You're welcome. Coolville cemetery is a cemetery that is above average in size for our area. Linley's gravesite is in the very back section. I will get you GPS points when I get to my computer so you can input the points on his memorial if you'd like. Also, as you can tell, the foundation of his marker has shifted over time causing his headstone to slip off of it. One of the photos I shot had to be turned upside down before posting. If you ever wanted to correct that situation , I would imagine it wouldnt be a costly fix as his monument wouldn't need a big foundation. If thats something you would want to do, call a local monument company or funeral home in Coolville, as I said, it should be an easy fix.
It appears from his profile that he was in the military. There wasn't a military marker back there. Additionally, the only other Baker's that had monuments in that area of the cemetery were Warren and Martha which were located only two plots from him.
Hope this info helps. Merry Christmas!

|Cindy (Huston) Fletcher||RE: Beard & Russell|
You're very welcome Mary Louise. I flew out there from California to visit the gravesites of my Huston and Russell ancestors. My camera ran out of memory the 1st day, so I had to use a disposable camera the next day. The quality just wasn't the same. I do have beautiful photos of the cemetery, Church, and countryside. If you'd like to see them my e-mail is Cynthia.firstname.lastname@example.org. I have many more headstone photos to upload to the site.

|Zelda||RE: Lucy E. Davis|
I sent a request to the person who manages the memorial asking that the bio information be removed from that page. Sorry to hear she was not the person you're looking for.
Have you tried searching the database for Lucy Davis? There's an entire page of memorials for that name in Ohio alone. If she has a memorial set up somewhere, maybe one will have dates of birth and death that fall within the correct parameters.
Also, if she died between 1908 and 1953, there's a good possibility her death certificate is online. If so, it will tell you where she's buried. I will also be happy to search the few cemetery databases I can access just in case her grave hasn't been memorialized yet.
Good luck on your search.
