|Pat Griggs||Jessie Lee Byrd (1881-1918?)|
Do you have any information on Jessie Lee Byrd Hornsby, wife of IW Hornsby and youngest child of Anthony Byrd? Jessie Lee was my great grandmother.

I was wondering if you could provide me with your source for the year and place of death information that you posted for Ann Taylor Stewart, who was married to Gordon S. Stewart (1789-1857) and who you indicate died in 1877 in Appling County Georgia, USA

Thank you for looking. Charity was not African American, so maybe the cemetery listed is not correct.
Thank you so much though!

Hello, I saw the memorial page you created for this unmarked grave. Which sister lived with Benjamin James in 1850 and 1860?
Co. I, 4th GA Cal
Williams mother was the first marriage of William A.Johnson Sr.Her name hasn't been found as of this time. He and his sister lived with Benjamin James in 1850 and 1860.The second marriage to his father was Matilda Newbern, his stepmother.

My apology - now looking again I see the double asterisk noting "half" siblings. Thank you for the good work.

On both grave sites there are people listed as siblings that are half-siblings. Simuel and John were the only two children born to John L Timmerman and Frances Malonie Dorn. After the death of John L Timmerman, Frances Malonie Dorn Timmerman married Permenter. The Permenter entries are half-siblings. Thank you for the good work. I did not know where Simuel's brother John )died as a POW at Camp Douglas, Illinois) was buried.

Thank you so much for the pictures and information. I have changed both memorials. I appreciate your pleasant attitude. Thank you for the time and work it took to take these pictures, and for all your work on this website. I would like to ask your permission to use them on Ancestry with credit to you, of course. Have a safe and blessed Christmas.

Do you have pictures of the graves of Hansford and Matilda? What cemetery are they located in? Proof would be helpful. Thanks.

|Markham||John Guess Rice Jr.|
Hello Joseph its me Julie. Happy Thanksgiving. John Guess Rice memorial # 89428937 has an incorrect statement on his memorial page. He is my Great Grandfather. The note says that his marker is only a memorial marker and that his real grave is in NJ. The John Guess Rice with a POW memorial grave marker is another John Guess Rice also buried in the North Cemetery. He does have a memorial marker only. Just wanted to let you know so that you could make the corrections.

|Punka||Parents of Frances Malonie Dorn|
I have the parents of Frances (1804-1875) as Peter Dorn (Find A Grave #105263291) and Margaret Eve (cannot find her last name). Would you link her to her parents? Frances married Barville Permenter (Find A Grave #346216670)
in SC in 1830. They ended up in Echols County GA.
Let me know if you have any problem with this. Mr Ouzts, who managed the site, is no longer working with Find A Grave.

Thanks for your inquiry. I am a Blitch descendant and have been looking for his grave for many, many years. WE are 'homing' in, but do not have an exact spot yet. I'm curious of your interest and how you know the family is looking to mark it. Do tell :)) Please write me directly at pas 47 pap yahoo com. THANKS!

Joseph you don't have to do all that work to transfer the memorials I won't be using this site much. I just wanted to update some very important information that the family discovered through DNA testing. We had the "Miller" side of the family all wrong. You don't have to transfer any more. Im not going to be active on this site unless we make more discoveries. It still means a lot to me what you did for me. Im so glad all of my memorials were not deleted because from what I understand someone tried to have that done. All of the people I transferred my memorials to were dear people who kept my family memorials safe. Thank You Joseph.

Thanks Joseph for the Transfers. I wanted to update based on new evidence my family has found. No I am not Delete. I haven't used the site for almost a year. I have noticed that name on several of my memorials. Hope you are good. J

Hello Joseph, Its me Julie. The Miller family has made many exciting new discoveries beginning with Joshua Miller buried in Markham Ontario Canada. His bio is now incorrect and we can link him to his parents and know his wife. Would you transfer the memorials for Curry back to me so that I can update the bios? Ill try this site one more time. Just don't want any misinformation about the family now that we know the truth. Thanks Julie

|Linda Davis||RE: Leaving FAG|
I know that Pam isn't active on Find A Grave. She expressed to me that she was very unhappy with the website for a long time, and little could I do to change that situation as I did try. I was on her emailing list for her "swan song" email, as I am sure there were many who were also on it. She has done some well-documented genealogy that has been invaluable to me in the past proving DAR applications. I wish her well in whatever she does.
My grandmother was a Sweat...the north FL line not the So GA line that she is related....yet both lines are the same line in the 1700's. Before she left, I wish she had transferred a few memorials to me such as my grandmother's brother's memorial. I have been here nearly 10 years and it is not killing me not to manage it as I don't have to manage every memorial in my direct or indirect family lines like some members to be happy.
You have a good day.

|Linda Davis||transferring of memorials|
In the guidelines you will read that grandparents are mandatory transfers....so there were no need to do the duplicates if she wouldn't transfer them to you.
Read the guidelines.
