Glenn, have you looked at the Massey and Pope graves I added this year? They are on the Foshalee Plantation in northern Leon County.

Your Welcome. I also posted the ind. ones on his parents. They are under a huge tree and easily covered with leaves and other "nature's Debris". I try to sweep of best as I can when I don't have my little broom handy. Thank you for your service, and good luck on your family tree.

You left a flower on the above memorial. You stated a full name including GREER. Is that her maiden name? If so, please advise and I will add to her name at the top. Also, do you know who her parents were? I can link them if you do.
Thanks for any help you can give me. I love to add to memorials for the people who come behind us looking

James Shelton Massey
I've been researching sibling/children family lines of my 5th great grandfather, Barrachias Massey. His daughter, Gilla B Massey is my 4th great grandmother. Her brother, James Robert Massey is my 5th Uncle.
His son is James Shelton Massey. In checking Findagrave, I saw there isn't a death date. I have a death date of 3 March 1897 in Florida (1880 census as him in Jefferson Co FL). Not sure if this would be helpful to you. I don't have a death certificate, but found the date in my research. :)

Robert & Allyne Cantley burial info
I now have a copy of Allyne Cantley's obituary and am sending it to you via email. It states that she is buried in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. I presume by now you've seen my earlier message that included the link to a photo of her and her husband's gravesites in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL. I hope this is all helpful to you and confirms that although the funeral home there may have had no record of their burial, they are indeed buried there.

Milo Vincent in Oak Grove Cemetery
I looked for Milo's stone in Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis, Michigan today. I found his parents, Norman & Sarah and siblings, Freeman, Hiram and Carrie and took and uploaded photos for all of them. Unfortunately I could not find a stone for Milo.

Robert & Allyne Cantley burial info
As mentioned earlier, I will be getting a copy of Allyne Cantley's obituary at the library this week, but meanwhile, my research today led to the following website which shows photos of Robert & Allyne's grave markers in Jefferson Memorial Gardens cemetery in Trussville, AL. Here is the link:

Robert & Allyne Cantley
I used several resources for that particular cemetery...took gravesite photos there, researched obituaries and confirmed dates with online research. That said, there is always a possibility of error or misinformation from a source. So here is what I will do. Give me a week or so to go to the research department at the Birmingham Library where Allyne's obituary is on file. I will get a copy of it for you and it will likely include the place of burial. I'll follow up with you when I have that information. Should be by the end of next week.

Nathan Marshall Massey (1822-1889)
You have a FindaGrave request to remove "Sr" from Nathan Marshall Massey (1822-1889)'s FindaGrave memorial. I know that you are a Massey and may have much more information than I have.

But are you aware of his wife and children listed on his FindaGrave memorial? Here's a listing and you can also see it directly at his FindaGrave memorial page:

> Spouse:
> Lucinda S. Land Massey (1843 - 1917)
> Children:
> George H. Massey (1870 - 1889)
> Maude Arrington Massey (1874 - 1947)
> Nettie Massey Wilson (1879 - 1951)
> Nathan Marshal Massey (1881 - 1953)
> Willie Lou Massey DeVaughn (1884 - 1956)

Because of his son, Nathan Marshal Massey (1881 - 1953), I would think that Nathan should be considered as a "Sr" and his son as "Jr".

Your thoughts?

RE: Emily Massey # 1580414
Her death certificate does have her father as Nathan Massey with an unknown mother. I have no idea where I got my information, it being ten years ago.

But I MAY have seen her listed under those names in a census record???

Anyway--I have put the names of the parents that you have in her bio.

Thank you for letting me know.
