James David Stringer
I am a great-great-granddaughter of James David Stringer. I wondered if you could identify the people in the picture that you have attached to his memorial? I had seen this photo quite a few years ago and seem to remember my grandmother saying that it is Jackie, Jim, Mandy (standing) and JD & Sarah (sitting). Is that correct? Thanks is advance for the information. --Gayla

Photo on Andrew Needham Burnham Memorial
Sir,
Is this a photo of Andrew, and Sarah? Do you now who the little boy is with them?
Thank you for dating the photo 1937.
We appreciate your help. So many who know facts like you do have left us.

RE: Lon Baker
PERFECT information Mr. Southard, thank you. I am inserting your information word for word into the family tree. I commend you and his granddaughter Peggy Elliott for doing all this work.
Mr. Baker is not the first person for whom we have a death certificate placing them in Winters Chapel yet is buried in Eidson. We have four so far we discovered like this. We wonder how this happened but don't expect to find the reason for events so long ago.
Do you know who the parents of baby Raymon N Burnham are? He is in nearby New Hope.

RE: Lon Baker
Thank you Sir. You have explained a lot. I don't understand why the family would place two markers so closely - across the street from one another. So I can note this in our Family Tree, how is it known the marker in Eidson Cemetery for Lon Baker 1870 - 1940 is the same person as the Winter's Chapel Alonzo Pierce Baker, 1868 -1938? Do you know why the family would place two different markers with different names and different years for the same person?

Alonzo Baker & Lon Baker
Mr. Southard,
I am a curator for the Dunwoody Preservation Trust. Thank you for creating the memorial for Alonzo Baker (1868 - 1938) in Eidson Cemetery. When the survey for Winters Chapel was done, the marker for Alonzo Baker was recorded as being in Winters Chapel. Also, his death certificate states he is in Winters Chapel. Did someone move his marker across the street to Eidson?
Also, there is a marker for a Lon Baker (1870 - 1940) extremely close to the marker for Alonzo Baker (1868 - 1938) in Eidson although the years are different. Is this actually the same person but the years are accidentally recorded differently?
Thank you for your help on clearing up this mystery.

Hi, You added a picture of this couple on the husbands page William Oscar Baker - would you please add it to her page as well? I am assuming the lady with him is Mary Elizabeth, his wife. Thanks.

Green and Sarah Southard
I was at Winters Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery in Dunwoody, Ga. today to fulfill a photo request when I saw the graves of Green and Sarah Southard. I took pictures of their grave since I saw there were none on their memorial pages. I also wanted to point out that you have a duplicate memorial for Sarah. I attached the photo of her grave to the earlier memorial you created.

James David Stringer
Hello,

I am working on the Stringer family as part of a family tree for a client. I am wondering if the picture you have posted for James David is a picture of him with his parents & spouse. Also, would it be ok to copy this picture to provide to my client.

Thanks,
Jennifer

Hello,

Just an FYI, I had already added Abagail Goggans Mahan to this cemetery in 2010 (59437138) so yours is a duplicate entry.

Southards
Hello,

I'm Katherine Southard Reece, I descend from Green W. Southard through William Turner Southard > Howard Southard > William Thurman Southard

Have we exchanged information before? I had my brother take the DNA test for the Southard/Southworth DNA project since I've been stuck on Green W. Southard forever.
