Genealogy of your family

You are one of several persons on Find A Grave that I run into regularly when I research in Carroll County. I had wondered if we were related. I hope you do genealogy as well as Find A Grave. If you do, would you share what you have collected on genealogy of Thomas Williams & Hannah Pinson both down to you and then back in time? Maybe one of us can help the other fill in gaps.

I have over 13000 dead relatives for my husband and me that I would be able to share as well. My private email is: I send a gedcom file if that works for you.

Many thanks, Ellece...I have sent edits to the other memorials which should make the necessary corrections. I don't understand why people create duplicate memorials when they are clearly visible on the sites. Since ancestry now has control of Find A Grave, these duplicate memorials make it very confusing when they are linked to Once again, thanks thanks for your hard work.

If you would like the obituary for this memorial, as we suspect you are related to her, we're happy to email it to you, however, to do so we would need an email.

RE: Hokes Bluff First Baptist Church Cemetery
I have posted all the ones I have. I teach at Hokes Bluff High and I have taken my class out many times to photograph graves. I think we have gotten most if not all. Now, there are many unmarked. I have a birth record for a James Nail in the 1920s. I copied this from a booklet of Dr. Ford who was the local doctor. Those are at school and I'll have to copy tomorrow if you need. Any other family names?

RE: Hokes Bluff First Baptist Church Cemetery
I added the picture to your site. Maybe the person who created the other memorial can be contacted to take it down since it is incorrect. If I can help you with any other Hokes Bluff info let me know. I have collected many pictures and research.

Burns Family Question
Hi Ellece,

I recently found your posts on Burns family members:
Find A Grave Memorial# 173555792
Find A Grave Memorial# 173555541
Find A Grave Memorial# 173528601

but that is where the thread seems to end. Do you have any information on Dodridge Burns I, his parents or siblings? I have photos of Lillian and Harry D. II. Would it be alright if I posted them on your pages?

Many thanks for adding these memorials!

Elena Phipps
Mashburn Family

My name is Elena (Helen) Phipps. I grew up with William and Emily Mashburn in Houston. I knew the Mashburns very well. I saw your request for information on the family. I have been searching for their burial location too. I just found their family burial site was just posted. I was William Jr girlfriend and Emily's good friend. I do miss this family so.

Honoring Their Lives
Cemetery inquiry
Hi Ellece, unfortunately I am not aware of how one would get to the Bell Springs Cemetery in Cullman, AL where Mrs. Higgs is noted buried. One of the daughters mentioned in her obituary works with me so I can ask her. Google maps show it near Old Hwy 13. I do not live in Alabama so don't know the area or directions. I'm no help in this...sigh. Warmly, Helen Murphy, Nashville, TN

Found my aunt Audrey.....Smith is her last name and she is buried in Villa Rica. she was married to Ralph W., Jr (died 10/2007) who is not listed at all. I've requested transfer from the creator.

RE: Lunnie and Annie Wessinger
Hello and nice to meet you....I am Lunnie's great-grandson (via Sybil, then Martha), if you are aware of lineage. Both of them have now passed (2006) and I am the eldest grandchild, so I'm doing my best to research and preserve as much lineage for my kids to have knowledge of as possible.

Thank you for your work! So....I was trying (in vain) to recall Audrey and Ralph's last name (they, too, lived in Villa Rica) so I could request her memorial....any ideas? Audrey passed in the mid to late 70's, as I recall. I want to say Stephens was the name, but am not finding it with that spelling.
