Olive Stockwell Shaw
Hi Blake, I decided to try to get back into photo taking at Oakwood Adrian and one is yours, Olive Shaw. I remembered you from Dover Center a couple years ago bc you mentioned "the silos." Guess what, when I went by recently I was riding instead of doing the driving myself like usual, and I noticed I believe all the silos are gone!
I thought of you. . . Back to Olive, someone posted a death certificate that says her father was Martin Perkins Stockwell. My question to you is--do you know what he looked like? If I email you a photo of some men could you pick him out? I just love the area's local history, having grown up here (and having returned here 8 years ago with husband to retire and stay). I am interested in all old families and I help a friend who is working on a book. Also work at 2 museum archives. Any help with MPS would be helpful. I am a nerd. Diane Mills, Hudson, MI

The sun didn't come out yesterday so I was not able to retake
the John Kuney stone. It is on my list for a sunny day

RE: Daniel Myers Headstone

The Massillon Cemetery Association is only open 10-1 Monday-Friday. However, if I can get more detailed information from them before I go back (likely in the spring)as to where Daniel is buried, I'll see what I can do about getting more photos for you.

I was out at Forest Hills Cemetery trying to get some photos for your requests and we were told that they do not allow photos to be taken. If you can call the cemetery office at 610-779-2550 and request section information, I will try to get back out there on Sunday to photograph the markers.

RE: Gladys Marie (Dye) Harmon Photo
Sorry it took me long to reply. If I'm correct, I believe I've seen your Ancestry account. I have the photo of Gladys posted on Ancestry under my account (username: spammail553). If you aren't able to find it you can upload it and use it.

I have attached a picture for James E. Armstrong's headstone. Please note the dates on the headstone and in the cemetery records are different than the dates listed on his memorial page.

RE: Dover Center Headstone Photos
Your welcome. I still have hundreds of photos to review and place on the memorials. Hope to get it all up to date within the next week or so, but this is something I do in my spare time and lately I don't seem to have much of that! I have found many stones that don't have memorials at Find A Grave so it keep your eye on Dover Center Cemetery and I may add some of your relatives.
Best regards,
Diane B.

The Lady in Black
Gambees @ Woodmere
Found the two you requested, and another one, Harriett M. Mygatt Gambee:

Hers was the only other footstone that I could find, and I'm not able to do any digging due to physical limitations, so that's the best I could do with hers. I got the information from her death certificate transcription. If you'd like her transferred, let me know.

Have a great day!

You are very welcome! I enjoy what I do. My mother has been buried in Crystal Cemetery for 31 years now, so I am there all the time. Helps me feel close to her and am able to help others at the same time:)

Crobaugh at Willoughby
There's also a Harry Y. Crobaugh (1856-1925) right next to the 2 requests I just filled. If you'd like it just put in a request, I took the photo with the others.
