Memorial 103089793- do you, or anyone else, know who Robert Johnson's parents might have been? Are there any YDNA testers who know? I would love to know my lineage past this g-grandparent! Thank you!

I am Elizabeth Ashworth-Beard(47559958)and I was in Brownwood TX at the Antique Mall.
There is a picture of DeWitt and Ellen Grover in a large oval frame. On the back it has their names
DeWitt Clinton Grover and Ellen Fadden and that they were buried in Beeville, TX. The price on the picture is $65.00. I took a photo of the picture and the back. Will try to send this to your e-mail via my phone, if it doesn't work are you on Facebook? I will ask my niece to post it to you.
I am always looking for old photos with names and then I try to find a home for them.

Do you know where Susie died? If Texas, she should be in the index/death certificates. Could she have married again after Will died? Thanks for any info you have.

Did you ever get a photo of his headstone? I have searched Sacred Heart Cemetery with no luck. Then on a whim tonight, I searched on Ancestry. I found a obituary that stated he and his wife (Isabelle) were buried in Westlawn Cemetery. Does this help/make sense to you?

|JYZ||103971730 Josie Belle Casey McTighe|
Hi, Linda, I am messaging you about this memorial because I think her death date is incorrect. On her tombstone (I blew it up large enough til I was sure I could read it.), it says her death date was 4 March 1941. I have not found verification of this, but it makes much more sense. I did find another Josie Casey who died and was buried in Big Spring, Texas 26 June 2012. Our Josie Casey McTighe was buried in Live Oak County, Texas. There is a SSDI that shows a Josie McTighe who died 4 March 2012. I can't explain that. At any rate, I can't really give you a definitive date, but could you maybe just put a note on her memorial to the effect that the date on the tombstone is different? If I find out anything more definite, I will let you know. Going to do a little more research, but am not expecting to find much.

Willo is buried in the Maverick County Cemetery, Eagle Pass, Maverick, Texas. Do you have any idea which Ritchie man she married? I've been able to pair up almost everyone but her. If you don't know do you know of someone who could help me? I'd appreciate any help. The Ritchie family is my older sister's family. Thank you. Janice

|Tory||James Hall Long|
I think you have Ada linked to the wrong James H Long. John and Sarah Long who lived most of their lives in Lavaca County had a son James H born about 1852. I believe he was the one who was married to Ada. Perhaps we could compare notes on this.
Take a look at my page on James' parents:

I completed your photo request for William and Mary Schwartz. They are next to their daughter Frances Harvey and grandson Arthur Harvey. I added photos to their existing memorials. See the captions by double clicking a photo for location information. There are three existing photos on Mary's memorial, so the photo I uploaded went to the second page and can be viewed by double clicking any photo on her page.

Thank you for offering to ad my memorial to yours, but no, I would not like that done as mine is on my Virtual Cemetery. I have been researching the Texas Rangers of the WWI and Mexican Revolution era and putting them on Find A Grave to honor them for their service to the State of Texas. My father was a Special Ranger of this period. That is the reason for my interest. I have only run on to about two who have even mentioned in their memorial that the man was a Ranger or was even a military man. I find that most of the memorials don't give place of birth or death and most times don't even give the full name of the person. They seem to just be interested in the number they have gotten for putting them on the website. I was happy to see that you are not in it for the numbers.
