RE: Pink Hamilton
I found his death certificate and Normangee is listed as place of burial. From the records I found the family moved into town (Houston) 3 years prior to his death. He had been a farmer his whole life up until that time so it would make sense that they would want to be buried where they had raised their family and not in the city. I am related but several times removed.

Debbi
Robert Clone Arbuckle's obit
Thanks for the suggestion, but when I know that the obit copyright belongs to the funeral home or the newspaper I will not post an obit. Guess it's the 23-1/2 yrs of working in the printing business and required to know the copyright laws. I, however, do have the obit. Bob was my father's 1st cousin and they could have passed as brothers rather than cousins. The two families were close when I was growing up and we still make contact even though the family has spread out and hard to schedule gatherings.

Gary, just noticed on Ouida's Death Certificate that she has the same parents as Laura Reed-Shepherd so added their links to her edit tab. Good work by the way. Thanks...Sandi

RE: Reed/sheperd
Sorry but I was working on the Shepherd's and only added her DC info to prove George Shepherd's wife Laura's maiden name, birth and death info. I didn't research her parents burial places. I am also researching the Easterling's and just noticed Floyd Easterling is married to Ouida Arleh Reed-Easterling # 74618372 one of you memorials in the same cemetery. I wonder if she is Laura Reed-Shepherds sister?? Here is a link to Ouida's page http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=74618372. Like I said I am not researching the Reed family as a whole... Sandi

RE: charles johnson
Hi,
I think I asked if you would transfer the memorial
(#77171047)of PFC Charles Ray Johnson to me to research and do more updating of his bio. I'm not sure or if I just sent an Edit for his bio.

Also, the bio info of (PFC Charles Ray Johnson)that was put on the memorial of Charles Johnson #77090215 is incorrect

The parents of PFC Charles Ray Johnson were William O Johnson and Erma L Darks. Neither are deceased as far as I know.

I don't research the Ancestry website, unless a memorial is transferred and then I do a more in depth search of that Marine.

Thanks,
Tony #47235247

Gary,

I have transferred your sister and aunt to you. Please let me know if I have any more immediate family members. I did not realize Me Estelle was your grandmother. Knew her and Mr Sid all my life, also their children.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Father. Prayers for you and your family.

William Berry Griner
Dear Gary,
Thank you for inserting William's grave stone photo. Please add Joshua Griner (1870-1954) as a child of William. I was at Joshua's death bed right before he died along with my father and Grandma Griner.
I have been researching this family for years. I can prove William's father is John C Griner but can not prove John's father.
again, your efforts are appreciated.
Best Regards,
Judy

Melinda Iley-Dohn
Samuel Jennings Logan
Hello,

I am the Grand-daughter of Samuel Jennings Logan by his first wife Emma Belle Bean Logan. I attended his funeral and burial in Normangee as a high school kid and have been searching for decades to discover more about my ancestors from his side of the family.

I understand that my Grandparents divorced in 1948 and met his second family at his funeral but have very little information about where he came from or who his parents and grandparents were.

Please let me know if you know where I can find this. I would like to know more about my Irish ancestry.

Thank you,
Melinda Iley-Dohn

RE: Gladys Batson
Hi, Gary,
I had asked for a photo of the gravestone of Gladys Batson.
You had replied that there already was a photo on her memorial page.
BUT, it has only her date of birth, not her date of birth AND death on the gravestone, so the photo has not been updated for after her interment. It is just a copy of the original photo that had been put on there after her husband's death.
Link to memorial page for Gladys Batson: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=65937803
Thank you in advance for the updated photo,
Bob
