RE: Zorus White, Jr. Photo Request
I am sorry that I missed this note.
Zorus White, Jr. B:2 May 1905
D:11 Feb 1978

Those come from death certificate and Soc.Sec.
Maybe the person who bought the marker didn't know the correct dates.

I hope you can still find the photo.

Karl R Nichols memorial update
A just got a message from another contributor that the memorial you originally entered (see: for Karl noted only one date on the inscription, and that you thought perhaps he was a stillborn infant.

As it turns out, Karl is still living (as far as we know), and the inscription was for his DOB, the whole headstone thus being actually a pre-need.

I'm keeping the memorial in place, but have updated the bio and linked him to his parents. It is a pre-need inscription, but since you entered it in good faith I think it should remain as a memorial since the inscription is visible in the cemetery and someone else could come along and enter a "new" memorial on the possibility that it was a still born infant.

There is a link to the father's 2004 obituary on my message from "Familyhunt" that you can access if you are interested.

Thank you!
Hello Lyle, I located your name on the memorial of my Grandfather, Walter Sallman. I then read the beautiful tribute to your wife. It appears the two of you have contributed greatly to this site. Great to see someone who knew my grandparents Walter and Esther! Take care!

I sent you a personal email some time ago. Did you ever receive it? Maybe went to your spam?

Betty June Robardy
Lyle, thank you for your most appreciated reply to my inquiry. I was able to find her Woodrow Wilson HS Yearbook photo and post is to her memorial. I am still hoping that by leaving enough "tracks" on the internet, someone who knew her will discover one and respond.

Betty June Wolverton Robardey
Lyle, I notice that you left flowers on Betty's memorial and being from the Dennison area where she lived, I wonder if you knew her or her family. I am Betty's first cousin, once removed and although on 3 years apart in age, I grew up never meeting her because her father Taylor Wolverton died before she was born and her mother remarried and moved away. Meanwhile Taylor's brother Butch (my grandfather)had already abandoned my mother and grandmother, left Texas and disappeared. So, our family connections were doubly broken. I have been trying to make contact with Betty's children or grandchilden for several years and no success. Any help or info appreciated.

H. Wayne Pedigo memorial update
I had a edit request for certain DOB/DOD information and addition of obituary transcription for memorial # 49967663. This is one of the transferred memorials to me, so thought you should know of these particular updates.

RE: Another Hello!
Hi Friend -

Yes, I've read your bio page and your wife's page and
that's how I knew you once lived in Las Vegas. I know
that you now live just up the road from me in Denison. I
would love to hear some stories on Las Vegas while you
lived there. I've been there many times and love the
climate and all the lights, sights and sounds! But I'm not
a gambler at heart even though I did give in a few times
and gambled because there's just no getting away from it.
Slots are everywhere!! I always have the best time there,
but not sure that I would live there. Other than Hoover
Dam, Laughlin and Primm, there's not many places to
visit unless you go out of state. I usually visit California
while I'm there just to get away and out of money! :-)
Anyway, Las Vegas is a fun city, for sure.

Have a great night up there in Denison. I have a good friend
on this site that is from Sherman. And I always love to
visit your beautiful wife. She looks like a very fun lady!

Take care and keep in touch. ~ Jean Ann

RE: Just A Hello!
Hello Lyle -

So nice to hear from you! We haven't messaged each
other in quite a while. Hope you are doing OK. Yes, I
am staying warm with the temps still high. I am so much
looking forward to Autumn and cooler weather. It's my
favorite time of year.
I hope you stay cool and out of the heat as much as
possible. But then I read that you lived in Las Vegas where
the temps can be as high as 115 or more. Still not as bad
as we have it here in TX due to the humidity. BTW, I love
Las Vegas!! I want to go back there soon.
Please feel free to message me anytime you would like. I
always enjoy hearing from you.

Stay cool and have a blessed night, my friend. ~ Jean Ann

RE: Donald Esker Photo
The reason why I did not add the photo to Joan's there is no death date on the memorial... Don't you want to wait until it is engraved on there?

RE: New Photo
Yes, I did like those videos of Oesch die Dritton. I'm glad you
like the photo of beautiful Anna Nicole Smith who is from
TX. Born in Houston, raised in Mexia. That red haired girl
will be back up shortly, though. I'm just experimenting a
little, changing my page up with new photos. Hope you have
a wonderful Fall weekend also. It is a bit "nippy" out tonight.
And the weather was beautiful today. Hope it stays that
way! :-) Best wishes, my friend.
