No problem, glad to do it! It just seems like the right way to display it. Let me know if you need anything else. RonRowlinson

RE: Family
Yep, the names and places indicate you're most likely one of Bill's cousins. His more recent folks were from around Deer Lodge. Re the DNA test, we had to submit a bunch of them on his father-in-law (my maternal uncle) before one worked, but it was worth the wait. Holler at me when you get your results, and we can definitely compare notes. There were several cousins I recognized as Find A Grave contributors, too. Great to run into you!

RE: Needa Buck/Meeda Buck
Thanks much for the reinforcement. Was pretty sure I had the right cemetery, since had been there while it was snowing and photo'd icicles on the low bluff across the road. Could see it on Google Earth--it's a pretty place--but am seldom up that way so thought maybe my memory was done for! Sure didn't remember that there were as many modern tombstones as are indicated on the cemetery list, though. Once it's straightened out, am perfectly happy to add Meeda's tombstone photo.

By the way, were your Hall ancestors in the Scott and Morgan County area? I've been working on a cousin-in-law's tree, tracing some of them, and he has a boatload of DNA cousin matches on his Hall line. So, just curious.

RE: Needa Buck/Meeda Buck
Unfortunately, you have just added a duplicate memorial, since Meeda already had one in a different Scroggins Cemetery. I was contacted by someone asking if I put the photo in the correct Scroggins cemetery since the tombstone was apparently transcribed in the other. Thought I knew where I was, but am just waiting on confirmation from local contributors before adding the photo for Meeda. Thanks for contacting, though!

My 2x grand father was Jacob Harvey Adkisson. As to his brother Elijah Elias Adkisson, our family bible state Jake year was 1862, on other documents E.E's on or about 1862, we do have twins in our family but, photos don't really support twins. do you have any other info in E E?

Meeda/Needa Buck
I don't hold the photo for the gravestone - you'll have to ask Harriet W Berry to add the copy to Meeda's memorial.

RE: Andy Scroggins
Yes, I found his memorial in John scroggins Cemetery, but if there are several that were inadvertently placed in that cem rather than the George Scroggins (which isn't far away), then can we be sure which ones should be where?

The cemetery book I have was published in 1988. Walter died in 1998 so he isn't in the book I have. A local friend there has the cem book which was published in 2001, I believe. I have contacted her to have her check and see which cemetery the author found Walter in at that time.

As I understand it, the John Scroggins may not even have a cemetery sign, and for that matter the other might not either.

Unless someone gets out to those cemeteries before we go out in June, we will be walking both of those cemeteries and verify who is in which one. This is one of the reasons we do this -- many memorials were placed in the wrong cemetery which happened to have a same or very simmilar name.

The local friend and a friend of hers were able to come up with what they believe to be the GPS for each of the two cemeteries. That's a great start!

RE: Andy Scroggins
The question I have about Walter is what evidence do we have that he is buried in the John or the George Scoggins Cemetery. WHen we looking at the 1988 cemetery book, he's not listed because the book was published in 1988.

Cry Cemetery
The tall stone in that cemetery is for David and Elizabeth Cry, with his name on one side and hers on the other. the only other stone in the cemetery is one that was recently erected by the Dayton family with family members that are supposed to be buried there. This cemetery has been completely destroyed when the landowner had it bulldozed off trying to sell the lot. Before the workers realized what they had unknowingly done it was to late, the grass and weeds where so high that they could not see the headstones and they stopped bulldozing, but the other stones and markers that where in the cemetery are now lying in a mound of dirt at the edge of the property.

reply to your question
You should take a picture of the new headstone and upload it to her memorial page #25845258. She remarried Henry O Newberry after John Calvin Dayton died.

I have the photo, but was called away and let my claim expire. Since no one else has claimed it, I will load this one, but will take it down at your request at any time. Someone else may do a better job on this stone. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Craven Duncan

Craven is my GGGG Uncle thru the Freytag and Davis Lines. Craven's daughter, Rebecca married Wm Freytag. Their son Edward married Clarissa Davis. Clarissa was my maternal G Grandmother's sister, and daughters of Reuban & Lucinda Summers. Jennie was oldest child and married John B. Williams. Their daughter Maud married J. E. "Everett" Tanner. My father was their oldest child and married Pearl Marie McGlothin. I was their oldest of three (3) children. Sometime I even wonder why i do this tangled mess.

The bikes are all gone now. Due to a required medication that allows me to keep searching for a while longer, I was forced to choose a maybe life with bikes or a maybe life with thinners. Hard chose, but had to be made. I need to alter my profile photo soon.

thanks for the question, but see what they always seem to turn into.

The photo is showing a very worn and weather damaged image. I will be glad to do another "enhanced" version that shows more clearly the inscriptions if you wish.
