|J.L.||John Babcock photo|
Hello Paula, I'm getting messages that the photo you placed for John Babcock is not John Babcock, but a photograph of a novelist, Edward Bulwer-Lytton (1803-1873). I moved the photo down to the second page but I don't see anyway to delete it since I didn't place it. Would you please go to John's memorial #82913716 and remove the photo of Edward?

|Melissa Stickles||Find A Grave Memorial# 82915389 Mary Lawton|
I am a direct descendant of this Babcock family. I was wondering where you got the photo of the painting of Mary Lawton and the info that it is her? According to a reverse image search, it indicates this photo is of Anne de Vere, Lady Fairfax, wife of Thomas Lord Fairfax of Cameron, died 1665. Many people are using this image as Mary Babcock on their family trees. It is an awesome thing if the photo was really of Mary...Do you have info that this is NOT Anne de Vere? I know I sure would like to clear this up because if this IS Mary Lawton Babcock, many of us would like to know, for sure.
Thank you so much for putting so much time and effort into these memorials, who are my gr-gr-gr-gr-grandparents.

Mr. Moore has a grave purchased at Dry Creek Cemetery, but he has not yet been interred. The cemetery staff advises me that they have been informed that the family plan is to have Mr. and Mrs. Moore interred in the same urn, so his ashes are being held by the family for the rest of her life. At that time, both of them will be interred together.
If you want me to go take a picture of the empty unmarked grave, I can do that, but I do not really see the point. If you would like a scenic picture of the area where that grave is, I would be happy to do that for you.

You have requested a photo for this gentleman. I do not find him in the Dry Creek register. Do you know what his first name was? Knowing that would greatly help me in my search for him.

Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me if any of the following people are buried there. William Beeson, Mary Mills Beeson, Richard Beeson, Charity Grubb Beeson ( they are the parents and grandparents of Welmet Beeson)? Those are my great ancestors and I am trying to find written records of where they are buried.

I see you have an interest in this family as do I.
My Erickson starts with my great grandmother Anna Greta Erickson Hanson 1845-1928. She was born in Sweden and lived in Olsburg, Kansas. If you will look at memorial # 137025536 you will see a little info on her.
I am wondering if your Erickson's and mine are of the same family?
Can you help?

Thanks, Paula. Please let me know if you think of any lead to connect with West cousins. I have birth/death for Walter L. I want to know WHO he was. A letter or clipping might be the clue to how he died, if he was called something other than his first name, something ...

Graves from 1600 era suffered vandalism and were moved to an unmarked area. There are no stones.
I have no information that Henry is buried in Western Cemetery. If you have some information, could you please send it on to me? I continue to look for him, but I have not been successful.

(missed keystroke and two incomplete messages, apologies!) Greetings! I search for Walter Lewis West 1880-1930 son of Walter Thomas West and Mary Farmer West. I have the statistics. I want to know a bit of who he was. Any suggestions are appreciated. Someone has newspaper clippings, letters, photos, something that provides a clue. I know no Oregon cousins. Yet! Thanks! my email is inbox.com and findagrave is (#47995693)

Your photos of the markers placed on Welmet Beeson Thornburgh's memorial don't appear to be Welmet's. The larger, full-view pic seems to be the marker of a Jos. Thornburgh, b. 1807, died 1883. Welmet was b. 1742 and d. 1775. Could you let me know whether a mistake has been made or if I'm misunderstanding how the markers are being presented? Many thanks. Gary Biggs
