My brother just sent the info. Names In Stone by
Jacob Holdcraft, page 690

RE: 138869670

It definitely was from Names in Stone. My brother owns the book and I will be happy to get the page number in the very near future.

If you would like for me to make the notation
that he was moved from the family cemetery, please provide the info in a SAC.

We all make errors, and I have learned through this site that Names in Stone has quite a few.

Hope this helps,

My information was probably taken from the book,
Names in Stone. I am not at home but will be happy to check the reference and let you know.

Bryan, thank you so much. I had grave doubts whether I would ever see a gravestone for Maria. What a wonderful treat for me when I saw you had gone and gotten the photo. I am deeply thankful.

Thanks so much , I know where the place is now . John Summers b, abt. 1806 ? marr. Margaretha Leatherman , they had a dau. Caroline "Callie" Summers. Margaretha father was Godfrey / Godfied Leatherman and mother Mary Recher. Caroline marr. my ggg grandfather Cornelius Dubel in 1849. They left the Wolsville area and lived Rocky Ridge at his death, I hope this makes sense. Still needs futher searcing. Have a nice day and thanks again. Judy

warrenfeltz family cemetery
As you may know a Myersville Wolfsville Historical Society has and is organizing. I volunteered to work on family emetery sites. I drove all over the Wolfsville Myersville area on Friday and have no idea where the Warrenfeltz Faamily cemetery is located and I would like to photo it for the Society. I will be going back to Myersville this Tuesday (I live in PA) and am hoping you could give me directions. Thank you

Find-a-Grave memorial 70819193

If you ever revisit this site, would you be so kind as to transcribe the quote on her tombstone. The dates are clear but othe stones cast a shadow on the quote and I know it is not possible to get a clear picture of the whole stone. I would like to add to full inscription to her memorial.

Many thanks,

Dear Bryan,

Thank you so much for your great photos! Did you take photos of the other graves there as well? I was asked to add photos to other memorials in this cemetery, taken by a family member some time ago, but they did not have the photos of my direct ancestors. Thank you for adding them!!!

I will put in a photo request for these other graves just in case you did photograph every grave.

Best regards,

Hi Bryan.
Thanks for catching that. I do search before I create but with the different spellings, I didn't see it. I've deleted mine and sent the obit to Mike to add.
Again, thanks.
Take care.

John T Summers
Thank you for taking the time to get a photo of his cemetery marker. I was wondering if you are related to him. His mother's maiden name was Main.
If you are related you might be interested in my thoughts:

I believe his birth date is wrong: The 1850 U.S. Fed. Census states that he was 8 months old on 13 August 1850 when it was taken. By adding 4 months to make a complete year it would make his birth month Dec. This all depends that the correct info was given to and recorded by the census taker.

Catoctin, Frederick County, Maryland - 13 Aug 1850 - Living in the Summers household were Abraham (60) & Catharine (50) (Main) Somers; their children: Daniel (19), Susan (22), Catharine M (17), Eliza E (15), Malinda (13), Adam (11), Jacob (9), Amanda E (5), & John F (8 months) Somers. - 1850 U.S. Fed. Census

Since I have only seen a photo I believe that he died in Jan not Jun. The markings between the J and n are the same as the a in the word years. The number of months was not clear, If there were a number of days they were hidden behind the bush. - Thanks again, Cheryle in Indiana

Thanks so much, Brian. There is another memorial for the Daniel Wise you took the photo for. I appreciate you trying!
