Bonnie's Daughter
Lydia Brown Frondorf
Hi Rob,
Recently found an Obit for Lydia and a Death Cert confirming she is in East Hill Cemetery.

Could you please delete the cemetery photo you left at her memorial when we thought she was in the County Farm Cemetery?

Thank you so much and God bless.

Mr. Hughes do you happen to have a better photograph of Hannah Sutton Stephen's tombstone. If you do, I would greatly appreciate being able to see it. I appreciate all that you do to put photographs onto Find A Grave.
Thank you so much.

Bonnie's Daughter
Lydia Frondorf, mem# 57521996
Hello Rob,
After several months of intensified researching of my 3x Gr-Grandma Lydia, I found her Obituary in The Daily Republican, Rushville, Jun 4, 1914.

It confirmed her resting place as East Hill and her married name spelled as Frondorf.

Could you please remove your photo of the County Cemetery that you so graciously posted when it was thought she was buried there? I am every grateful for your help.

As Always,

Barbara Graves
Sarah D Groves Amber #46184891
Hi, Rob; Thank you for posting this picture! I am working on my Groves line, and saw your photo of a small headstone on the Sarah D Groves Amber memorial page. Since you are accredited with the photo, I am wondering: is there also a larger marker that gives her full married name, i.e., Sarah Groves Amber, or Sarah Amber? Having her grave marked only with her maiden name of Groves seems a bit odd, so that's what I'm wondering. Thanks again for your work.

Boy, I sure messed up. It shows her father is Clifton Williams. Her mother is Charlotte Huston-Clawson married to Samuel Garner Clawson.

Sorry about that. A senior moment.

Hello Rob,

It shows Nancy is linked to a Clifton Williams. This is incorrect. I don't know who did it but it is wrong. Nancy was married to a Thomas Ray b: 1834 Ireland. He remarried after Nancy died to a Sarah E Unknown and I could never find him again.

Thank you,
Virgie Perrin

Holly Blevins
Downeyville cemetery
Hi Rob:
Hoping you can help me. I live in Arizona but am planning a trip to Indiana to do some research on my family. I have ancestors buried in a cemetery in Adams Township, Decatur County. The cemetery is known by 3 different names. Star Baptist, Downeyville, and Flat Rock cemeteries. I saw that you posted a picture from there so I was hoping you could tell me where it is. I can't find any information as to it's location. If you have directions or coordinates that would be great. I appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanks so much,

Holly Blevins

Gary Stanford
Location of Westerfield graves in Rush County

My name is Gary Stanford and I am interested in finding the locations of many family members who seem to have disappeared in Rush County, Indiana in the mid 1800's. John Monfort Westerfield settled in Rush County in 1834. He was a Medical Physician who cared for many residents of Rush and Henry Counties. The Westerfields family settled three miles south of Manilla and owned about twenty percent of land in Manilla. My late Uncle, Robert Edward Westerfield, discovered a Westerfield Grave Yard inside a farmer's field. I believe it is referred to as "Westerfield Burial Plots". My Uncle told me that he saw several Westerfield's buried there and many stones which were badly worn. Also, many of our family members were laid to rest at Manilla Cemetery but we're not sure how many are actually there. Do you or anyone you might know have records of exactly who is buried in these two locations? Several Westerfield's have just disappeared within Rush County, Indiana and we have been attempting to locate them for the past eighty years. Anyone with information can please contact me at Thank you for your help.

Carolyn Craig
samuel Stanfield in Reddick Cemetery Rush COunty, Indiana

I think you have this person in the wrong cemetery. He lived in Jackson county, Indiana. His first wife and children that died young are buried in REDDINGTON CEMETERY in JACKSON COUNTY, Indiana.
Also, most of those he was named after are buried in the Reddington cemetery in Jackson County, Indiana
