This data comes from a local cemetery tome for Overton County - the data is not verified by any documentation other than that. I have no personal knowledge of the family.

Thanks for informing me of the duplicate. It has been deleted. My wife has Coe relatives, so you may be related.

RE: Charles Reynolds Williar
Excellent, would you be willing to add that information (or even better, a copy of the DC if you have it) to his memorial page? That way I won't research it again (my memory can be terrible). It's odd that the sextant has no record of the burial, and it is not listed in the Prineville Funeral Home Index. But I'm pretty sure that early records were spotty, his is not the only burial that has been lost to history. Do you happen to have an obituary as well? Warm regards, Carrie

Just a note to let you know that I added a photo of the subject individual to the memorial you created and that I also just sent you, or tried to, some biographical information about Mr. Karnes. I don't yet know how to send you all the pages of that, however! Finally, here is his death certificate in case you have never seen it. GO ROYALS!!! Tom in Kansas City

Myra Desdemona Swain Peirsel
Dear Ted,

I am trying to connect Myra to her parents but there is no death certificate only a burial record, and her parents are not listed. Do you have any documentation to prove parents? I need for DAR application. In census with Anthony Swain they call her Dessie and Desdemona, but never Myra and she stated on 1870 and 1880 census she was born in TN. Daughter Grace told census takers in 1910 & 1930 her mother was born in TN and Anna said Ohio. So I have to have some documentation of proof of her parents.

Her husband was Uriah Beal Piersel and I feel confident his father is Jeremiah Piersel and Mary Beal. But I have to prove this fact also.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

I will try to put a photo of her headstone on soon. If I recall it is very difficult to read, but I will do my best.

Uncle Tom & Aunt Carrie
Aunt Carrie was my Grandmother's aunt. Uncle Tom and my Great-grandfather, from what I was told had the Utica Clothing Store in Des Moines. The photos are ok. If you like, I have a couple more. One is a Photo of some of the family sitting on their porch when they lived on Grand Ave in Des Moines. The other is one of Tom with my grandmother's little sister. I would guess it was taken about the time they moved to Long Beach. Let me know.
