|Sherry Cantrell||2nd husband of Orilla Sherwood|
Orilla Sherwood is my 4th great grandmother. She married again after the death of John Bonney to Alpheus Streator. I created a page for him (# 177647964) if you would like to link Orilla to him.
Best regards, Sherry

|Sabrina Smith||RE: relatives in common|
Hello! Yes Samuel B. Parris married Ruth Bonney and they did have several children. My ancestor was their child, James Paris Sr., who married Elizabeth Graven. Their child that is my ancestor was James Paris Jr. who married Sarah "Sally" Pendleton. Their child that is my ancestor was Pleasant Paris who married Nancy Jane Sam. Their child that is my ancestor was Jesse Fortner Paris who married Sarah Jane Conger. Their child that is my ancestor was Richard Samuel Paris and he married my grandmother's mother, Allie (we believe middle name is Etta) Wood and they had my grandmother, Miriam Wood Paris who married my grandfather, Glynn Booker McMinn. I hope this helps. The reason I don't have all of their siblings is it was starting to get very confusing to have so many names on each branch. It looks like the Parises dropped the second R in Parris to just Paris starting with Samuel B. Parris and Ruth Bonney's children.

|Sabrina Smith||relatives in common|
Hello! We have relatives in common! Thomas Goodman Bonney and Mary Hunt. They are my 8th great-grandfather and great-grandmother. Their son John Bonney married Elizabeth Bishop and had my 6th great grandmother, Ruth Bonney, who married Samuel Baxter Parris. They is where the Bonney name ends and the Parrises continue on until my grandmother, Miriam Wood Paris who married my grandfather, Glynn Booker McMinn. Anyway, just thought I would mention that. :-)

You asked for people to contact you if they were related to John Markley. He was my 1st cousin 4X removed.

Do you happen to know anything about Walter Hyer Pumphrey (born OCT 1869 • Washington, District of Columbia, USA)? He was a patent attorney in NYC throughout much of the first half of the 20th century.
Also, do you know anything about his daughter Agnes L Pumphrey (Birth 30 MAR 1893 • Washington, District of Columbia, USA)? She was a stenographer in NYC in 1915, and died sometime after the 1940 federal census. As of the age of 47, she never married.
I just found out where Walter's wife was buried, and created a Find-A-Grave memorial for her. Her name was Cornelia Lovica Osgood, and was my 2d great-aunt. Her Find-A-Grave memorial is #177037348. I have linked it to her parents, and have made a request to link her son, James O Pumphrey's Find-A-Grave memorial to her. As it happens, you maintain his memorial, and you are researching the Pumphrey line, which is why I am asking you.
By the way, James was also an attorney, and never married.

I would like to respectfully ask if you would consider transferring your memorial for John G. Fidler (#47060448) to me (#48871738). I am creating memorials for the Fidler side of my family and he is my 3rd great Uncle. I would like to keep the management for the entire family together. Thank you for your consideration. ~ Ed

You´re very welcome for whatever I put on about your McPeek relative----but I couldn´t find it to save my life.
I thought maybe I had entered a McPeek into Find A Grave, but I don´t believe I did.
Love your dogs. (We have 8 of them).

|Grandma||Benjamin Franklin Pumphrey|
Thank you for your message concerning a duplicate memorial for the above. I have contacted the creator of the other memorial to see what we can do. Benjamin's aunt Ida Pumphrey married my uncle Orlando Learn so I too am related to him -
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I always check for duplicates, but since the memorial was listed by his middle name, I missed it.

Are you related to Theodore Lyman Bonney and Morton van Buren Lyman? I added their photos to the Find A Grave database. Click on the photo for the source and the a link.
Shorts bios with the photos. Also, at the top right, do a word search for 'Bonney' and click the '+' a few times if you want to download larger size photos.

|Valarie Vine||May (Bonney) Reed|
May is on a tombstone with 5 other family members going back several generations. The memorial was added by "Sierra" in 2007. I've sent the connection information to her. You might want to look up the memorial for May on findagrave and perhaps contact the person who created the memorial. I have no further information. All the best to you on your family history research.

Hello. I work near Fort Lincoln Cemetery and would be happy to take a photo of your request for Antonio DiSilvestri's gravesite. Unfortunately, Ft. Lincoln is limiting the number of requests per visit to two per week. Is it possible that you could email the director asking for the Block, Lot and Grave Site for Antonio DiSilvestri-and then forward it to me. I will then take a photo of it and post on the site for you. The manager is Renee Shareef and her email is Renee.Shareef@DignityMemorial.com Thanks!

|Valarie Vine||May (Bonney) Reed|
I've been photographing at San Joaquim Catholic Cemetery in Stockton, CA. On the same stone with various family members (including her mother Catherine Bonney) is May (Bonney) Reed 1901-1962. I checked the U.S. Census 1920 for her and her parents are listed as Richard and Catherine Bonney (+ two siblings Loyola and Richard). May was born in California and died in Alameda, CA. I've asked the person who created her memorial to add her parents as noted above. Thought you'd like to know. (I am not related to the family).

|Michelle Kirby||RE: Hannah Pumphrey/Martin|
I am glad to hear from you. I haven't worked on family history in a while. My grandmother Hannah "Annie" Butler Pumphrey Martin is buried at Chipola Cemetery among her Pumphrey children as well as two sisters. This is a very predominate Pumphrey community. I knew only three of her children: my grandmother, Clara Ethel Pumphrey, my great aunt Hardee Pumphrey Dube, and Great Aunt Eva Martin. Aunt Eva.
Annie was a strong woman. She lost her first husband, my great grandfather Alfred Pumphrey, to a tractor accident. I think a tree fell on him. Annie was left with lots of little children and was threatened with losing her home to which she pulled a gun on the company store owner daring him to try. She had to divide the children, including my grandmother, to live and be taken care of elsewhere. My grandmother was raised by the Pippen relatives. It was a hard time.
I hope this helps.

I'm not related but recently updated several Pumfrey records. One is # 21387907, where you added a note requesting more information. My edits include dates and family links, and some are still pending acceptance. That's all I know. Linda

You appeared to put the photo for Wallace Cornwell Jr. in Wallace Cornwell Sr.'s site at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery. Wallace Cornwell Jr. was not married at the time of this death and your photo shows Mr. and Mrs. Cornwell. I know that there has been a request for a photo for Mr. and Mrs. Cornwell Sr. Thanks! And keep up the great work that you have been doing.
