Got a question for you.
How does the process work if an individual is inactive on F.A.G. and we need to link them up ? ie Memorial No 20992177 for Charles G. Gray. The originator is Bonnie. Her info may be in error as stated. Just your thoughts

I am so very sorry that I did not get a picture of the full stone. I have it on my "to do" list to take when I go back to that cemetery. I will put it on Gordon Douglas's memorial.

You are more than welcome! It has been so much fun spending time with my kids doing this. Who'd have ever thought that they would have fun in a cemetery!!

|Bonnie Martin Cornish||Wondering ?|
Are you in any way related to a Janet Marker in Hopwood?? Have been wondering if she is still around. She was very helpful to me at one time.

Also at Oaklawn is James L. Powell, 12/29/1930-05/18/2009. The marker is next to Clarence and Hilda. I have a photo if you want to add him to your collection.

|babs||P 759 James F. Moore|
Well, I finally got things figured out with the help on someone in the office. There is an error on Cave Hill's website that does not show up on their office computers. James F. Moore does not have a stone, BUT, there is a James E. Moore 1854-1932, Kate May Moore 1885-1889 and Susie S. Moore 1857-1919. I have pictures for the last three. Could this be James F.'s son and family? Will you send memorial #'s to me if you have them or make them so I can enter the pictures.

I wondered where he went. The reason is that I took a picture of the wrong James Moore and caught it just as I was about ready to send it, but obviously I did send it. I will take care of the picture the next time I am out there, which will be next week. I have him on my shopping list so you don't need to request him again. Sorry for he confusion.

She simply may not have a stone and we all know about records or rather the lack of! I will keep looking.

I think some people just add burial records from records they get from I dont know where not knowing if there is a stone there or not

I will meet with the man who has more complete records and see what I can find out. The only Middleton in lot 60 is Alex who was buried in Nov. Of 1860. Charles is in lot 90 and passed in 1865' I know there are others but?? I am sure she will be found! I do know the records are not the best.

|Maggie||RE: Visscher Family|
I only find Fort Valley Cemetery here on findagrave with only 94 burials listed. I googled Fort Valley Cemetery and no cemetery by that name shows up, it mentions Oaklawn. Maybe some old records referred to Fort Valley Cemetery which is actually Oaklawn. Maybe the contributors that list Fort Valley Cemetery should change the name to Oaklawn? Just a thought. Thanks, Maggie

Thank you for responding to my message regarding America's maiden name. I have seen LeSueur spelled many ways and also if the name was handwritten it can be difficult to interpret, etc. I look forward to hearing from you when you receive more info. I appreciate you doing this. Thanks Maggie

I will take a look...there were several stones andI did take photos but...it was raining and I did not clean the lichen off most of those stones have only a first name, one has father and one mother..so It will take a bit to figure out who is a Middleton and who is a Bitterman. I will take a look at the plat and we can go from there!You can email me direct at firstname.lastname@example.org
