John F Coy - Benningfield instead
Sorry I've been working on my late husband's family info on Ancestry.

My John F Coy 1812-1970 (Madison Ky-Larue County KY. He & Dolly had a son, Cyrus W Coy 1850 Larue County Ky-1925 Louisville KY. Our Cyrus was married to Agnes Pope Coy. Your Cyrus was married to Sarah M Beeler Coy.

I had found some documentation showing his middle inital of F. There were several John Coy's from Kentucky. It's a shame there was no better record keeping back in the day. Hopefully, this helps in your search's - Sue Armstrong

John Coy - Riverview
Thank you for this information, but will have to double check all my family information before I can make any necessary changes. I do know that there were several John Coy's with similiar DOB's. As have not located any middle name nor initial, it's been hard for researching. I'm working off family bible's. Have a blessed week - Sue Armstrong

Hey Deborah,
I was there this past August for a family reunion. I live in North Carolina. Are you related to them? I just added Clovis and Mattie Lee Smiley Beatty. They were my Great Uncle and Aunt.

You're welcome also! :)

Hi, I'm related to Edward and Dorcus Burton through their daughter, Josephine Burton. I'm looking for directions to the Burton Cemetery in Fordsville, KY. I live about an hour away and plan to make a trip to several cemeteries in the area.

Thanks,

I understand about the "possible" sister thing! I removed her until I can get in there and give the place a good going over!

Thanks!

Hi Deb!
It's me! I'm so sorry I haven't been it touch lately, so much going on, back problems, etc...O.K....The cemetery and memorials and all information was given to me after the original graver had passed. I'm not sure who took the photos posted, but they are quite old. The graves sit on private property and I have been by several times to photograph them but there is never anyone home. I can see them from the road, along with cows and electric fencing! Please don't make another cemetery, I think that will just make things more confusing. I plan to go again soon and we'll get this straightened out!
Thanks for your patience!
Tammy

I made the additions you suggested. Also used the 1852 marriage date for Abner & Clementine since they were both born after the 1828 date an Melissa wasn't born till 1853. If that is not correct let me know and I will change it.

Re: Find A Grave Correction: Harland Woodruff
I believe Jack's mother was Frieda as linked, whom his father married in Marion County, Ohio, on April 10, 1922, as a first marriage for both. Jack was born in 1923, and is found in the census with father, mother Frieda, and younger brother Stanley in 1930. Not sure what happened in the family later. Hope this helps.

I believe that memorials should be with the closest relative or friend. And as I get older I like to see the memorials passed on to younger people.
