Linda Carr
Hello, I have a picture of Linda's bronze grave Plaque. Is it possible to consolidate a picture so her plaque could be posted? Thank you.

Would you happen to know who his parents were?

Fred Lay
I have told you wrong about the correct Ray cemetery for this may. He is in the Ray Ceme #79 East. This is the cemetery with the other Lay family in it. The Tom Ray ceme West has no Lay family members. Sorry about the mixup
The way I generally determine which is which is by looking to see which cemetery has the Bundrant family in it. That one is the Tom Ray ceme. Your Lay family members are in the other one.

RE: Ray Ceme
Thank you. I looked back through my photos of the Ray Cemeteries and found a couple but not Frank. Maybe I'll get another opportunity to visit these cemeteries and will look specifically for Frank.

RE: Ray Ceme
Thanks for your reply. Thought you might be interested. I believe you have them in the right cemeteries as far as I can tell. Franklin and Marshall are in Ray Cemetery #79 East Hill, T B Garth Farm, Hog Creek, Wayne Co, Tn
Fred Lay is listed on the Wayne Co site as being in Tom Ray Cemetery on the West Hill, T B Garth Farm Hog Creek, Wayne Co, TN
I did not find a tombstone for Fred. I recently visited both cemeteries and took photos of just about every tombstone I could find. I do have two or three photos I took at Tom Ray ceme that I have not been able to read. I will look at them again and see if I can make out anything. One had been knocked over and broken by a recently fallen tree.

Ray Ceme
I don't know whether you've looked at Ray Ceme in Wayne Co, TN lately but Peggy Ray and I have added quite a few friends to your memorials. We feel as if both the Ray Cemeteries at this location are about complete.

I would like to add the photos of Ethel Carr on my tree. Would it be ok if I give you credit for the photos?

RE: K Solomand Branham
Hello Margaret, I am in Oklahoma. The Branhams are cousins to my mother and I know that there are several still located in that area. My mother is in Ohio but I will check with her to see if she can contact one of them. It may take some time, I will let you know. Blessings, Debbie

Lo Marie
Floyd and Pauline Carr
Yes, Floyd and Pauline are in my line of relatives. I just haven't figured their lineage yet. My parents were from Claiborne, Union Co., Tn. I came to Monroe when I was very young. Most everyone from those areas are related somehow to me. My dad was Conrad Braden, and he is related to McBee, Keck, Mayes, Beason, Boruff, Beeler, Lay, Shoffner, Heck, Stanifer, Carr, Woods, and on and on, as names change when the daughters marry.

My goal is to find and connect the children buried here in Monroe to their families back down south. It has gotten to be quite an endeavor, but a labor of love. Each day I get a new name to trace. I have also spent alot of time lately in the local cemeteries, and when I find a name that is familiar, I add the picture, if there isn't one on their memorial.

If I can be of any help, please let me know.
