RE: Lord family question (s)
I don't recall seeing your message. It's dated 2012---my apologies--I use find a grave weekly, so---not having this pop up before is odd. My ties to the Lords: My famiies, Kellam, Adams, parsons, et al, intermarried over and over with the Lords.

I'm the family keeper of records, as well as a professional genealogist. I've published work on the Lords, available on CD. Feel free to contact me at 919-496-1604

David Haskell
The David Haskell buried in Lot 848 (Spgfle Cem.) appears to have been born in Salem, the son of David & Mary, and died in Springfield on April 4, 1863 at age 63.

His wife was Mary Edwards, who was born in Westhampton, daughter of Justin & Mary, and who died in Springfield on Mar. 19, 1860.

David and his wife, Mary Edwards, are buried side-by-side, in Lot 848, on the west side of Vine Path. A monument was installed between the two graves. The lot was purchased by Henry S. Bushnell (?) on March 20, 1860. The cemetery office notes David Haskell and Mary Edwards as "Father" and "Mother" -- of Henry S. Haskell? The deed was a later reconstruction of the original and the name of the owner may have been written or transcribed incorrectly.
