Aquilla Hill Duplicates
Aquilla Hill b 1770 - d 1835 is duplicated on findagrave. Here are the two URL's for the two entries. The first one has very little information and the second one has pretty much. Both version are married to Elizabeth Sweeney and died in Whitley County, KY.

No I don't know where John Robert is buried. I didn't even know Susan Isabella was not his first wife. Their daughter was my great grandmother and she was born in 1883. John Robert apparently did not raise her. She was raised by her uncle and aunt, James Hiram and Madeline Hill. She married their son, her cousin and became Annie Best Best. Who was John Robert's first wife and do you know where Susan Isabella is buried? My email is

Thanks for the coordinates. I put up the corrected map. I knew where the road was for the cemetery but somehow screwed up my previous coordinates and didn't catch it. I really appreciate the heads up about that.

Thanks for the heads up on the map. Do you have the exact coordinates of the cemetery? I did have them but have lost them and can't figure out on google map exactly where the cemetery is.

I think we're related, Annie Best Best was my great grandmother and would have been George W. Barefoot's granddaughter.

Hi.... If you can give some of the landmarks near or around this cemetery I will be glad to go out and try to locate it. Any info you can share will help.

Tom Allen
Norwich Cemetery and the Wiggs
Hi Jeff, I finally made it into the Norwich Cemetery -- what an experience. I have sent you the gravestone picture for Sarah Wiggs. I would guess the other side of the monument might contain a reference to Windsor Wiggs but I could not verify. There are only 4-5 gravestones standing with most broken and covered with 100+ years of mulch. When I get home I'll send you more pics. Take care, Tom.

Hi, Mr. Barefoot - I just wanted to let you know why you might see some tokens and flowers showing up where you'll wonder how in the heck we know about your pages...I actually thought that your line might be related to my very brief connection with Barefoot (it seemed to have died out at the turn of the century, but I'm still looking)...anyhow, that's what started it. Please be sure to let me know if you don't like strangers visiting - I've heard that, I don't get it on this site, but yes, I've heard it... - or if any of the tokens we leave get on your nerves. Best to you and yours for the holiday - RCP and Gannon Blue

RE: Young Cemetery
The Cemetery is on Young Cemetery Rd. Not sure but I think the Old and New section are all part of the same Cemetery.
