No problem. I just like to look at the facts as sometimes people have the wrong person. Even I get confused sometimes. Are you a Delzell relative? Thank you for the link as i have more Dalzell and Delzell's to look up later in Michigan.
Have a nice day,
Debbie Delzell

p.s. Nancy, you are the person who has Thomas Sr.'s memorial and the link as well. You should know that Florence is not linked to her son as her husband.

Thank you for your post re. father vs son, husband of Florence See. Please click on the husband's link and read his info. Their son was born much later and is not linked as a husband of Florence.

That is one of Find a Grave's "automatic" relative links. I added a link to his actual wife but his mother's listing is still there as another wife.

Thanks! I added the month and day of his death. His birth place is different but i think I have his birth certificate somewhere. My cousin put wrong info on my grandmother"s death certificate. so it happens.

What do you mean? "Big difference between his death certificate and what you have."

I cannot comment on something I have not seen. Please sent me a copy and I will look at it. You do have the correct John Delzell? There are so many of them.

Deibert Family
I am adding the Deibert Family as I go in Mount Hope Cemetery. There are a few more listed in the cemetery records that will be added even if I can not find their graves. The cemetery is challenging:) I added George's wife this morning. If there are any mistakes, please let me know. Thank you
Happy Hunting

Hi Nancy;
It would seem we have a difference of opinions by recognized sources.
You quote the Rhode Island Historical Cemetery Commission.
I am quoting the American Genealogical-Biographical Index (AGBI)

Name Phebe Cook
Birth Date 1780
Birthplace Rhode Island
Volume 33
Page number 476
Reference Gen. Column of the " Boston Transcript". 1906-1941.( The greatest single source of material for gen. Data for the N.E. area and for the period 1600-1800. Completely indexed in the Index.): 5 Aug 1903, 6486.

Are there two Phobe Cooks ?

I am interested in Phoebe Seamans whose husband is John Wanton Cook.

memorial 127343139 effie smuck colborn
Wondering if you can help me. The information on Effie about her being
William and Anna's daughter and the second wife of Sylvester Colborn. Where did you get the information on the date of marriage? I just need to verify its accuracy. I have cousins that sent me information on Sylvester, he had 3 wives. they show a date for his third wife married Dec 12 1857. I think its wrong but having a hard time proving it. Effie and Sylvester were only married a few years and no children that I know of.
Thank you for any information.

If you don't hear back tell Find A Grave staff. (I wait about a month before doing so.) Staff can reassign the memorial into your care so you can make updates or corrections. Delighting in our conversations.

Kind of what I thought. Try to 'talk' to the other contributor to see if they can be combined. I always try that first, and if they don't respond I let Find A Grave staff know. If the party is no longer active Find A Grave will transfer a memorial to me. Thanks for responding.

Thanks so much for deleting the death certificate. I guess you noticed that I wrote that I didn't like them on my memorials. That was very considerate of you!

Hello, Nancy,
I got all your edits for Grace. I can't find her death certificate, at least, it's not included in Dickinson County for 1922 (I checked all of them), and I can't spend time looking for sources of your information. If you would like your edits included, I'll approve them but only if I can then transfer her memorial to you. Would you take it? Please let me know. Thanks!

Roy / Hazel Rydholm
I have been trying to submit picture requests for Park Cemetery in Marquette, Michigan. I located a Hazel Rydholm to the right of Roy Rydholm. She was born 1875 and died 1977. Do you have any requests for this picture?

Dear Nancy,
You really didn't have to transfer her memorial to me. I am fine that you are the one who found her. I really appreciate all the hard work you have done and I certainly don't want to take anything away from you! You are the rightful owner and contributor for Anne!
Thanks for being so very kind.

Gordy Cemeterys in Sussex Co. DE
My name is Holly. I am trying to decipher and locate the Gordy Cemeteries in Sussex Co. DE. I was hoping you could shed some light because I noticed a flower icon from you next to Aaron Gordy on this website. My dilemma comes because on Find a Grave 3 different cemeteries are mentioned for this family. My ancestor Mary Hitchens is buried in one of them. I don't know if they are all the same and where they are exactly.
I have more information if you are able to help. Thank you so much for your consideration.

I accept your response, but I do think they are the same person. I admit to you that I really have not studied this line and I only posted my memorials out of pure enthusiasm. My grandmother did all the research for herself so she could join DAR. I only used the info she had.
Please forgive my ignorance and hast to post this memorial without my own searching.
It sounds like you have done so much investigating I will be happy to just delete my memorial.
It is with admiration and thanks to people like you who really know what you need to about those memorials you post
I hope you won't let this get in the way of the two of us working on things here in the future.

Again, thanks for all the good information.

My mother, Rosemary Hagemyer, has a memorial for Fanny Frances Carder Stowell Paine listed. I saw information on her parents through your postings and others on your page and was grateful to learn more of her family before she came to Michigan.

RE: Mary Dixon Carder and Joseph Carder
Thanks Nancy. I found the memorial very interesting. Did Fannie Frances Stowell Paine end up being a documented heir? She was my 4th great-grandmother and she is buried in Albion, Michigan. My mother (Rosemary Hagemyer) has her listed as a daughter of Mary Dixon and Joseph Carder on Fannie's memorial and I have been looking for more documentation of this line. It sounded like Mary Dixon Carder had not heard of her....

I really appreciate all the information. I was excited so see the memorials as it provides clues.
