RE: O'Hern, Clyde Memorial #31437815
:-) Thank you for the kind note. I passed the ownership of the page to the person who made the photo request for his daughter. They may be related and I wish to do the same as you to link family members.

I am sorry if I mislead you. I am not a family member, but one who completes photo requests. Before I fulfill each request, I research the entire family so as to have a complete memorial page.

Thoma relatives
Hi Joyce,

I read your note on the following memorial for Franklin Lewis Thoma, Sr

Are you related? My Thomas surname used to be Thoma and my Thoma relatives are from near Stuttgart Germany (which it looks like Franklin's line is from as well).

Hoping to find some Thoma relatives with more info about that family in Germany.

What a happy surprise to find that you transferred the Gragg's I sent SACs about. This will be very helpful as I hope to find links for the parents and more information about the children. I appreciate your thoughtfulness -- AND the excellent photos of their markers.

Tommy & Marsha Gee
Edd & Marion McCleskey

Thank you for creating the memorials for my maternal uncle and aunt. Marsha and I have been working on linking my grandparents to their children and wonder if you would be so kind as to transfer Uncle Edd (#31176537) and Aunt Marion (#31176481) to us (#47426238). The annual McCleskey reunion is this month and we hope to surprise the cousins with an updated genealogy complete with memorials from findagrave.

Thank you,
Tommy Gee

This is my Great Grandfather. I love that you have pic of his marker. I was wondering if he was buried next to someone or by himself? I can't seem to find any records on his wife. I'm not sure if I even have the right name Lily? Any help would be great!

Wilkes Barre City Cemetery
I'm searching for one "Conrad Teeter" - lived most of his life in Wilkes Barre, delivered mail by stagecoach from Wilkes Barre to Painted Post, NY. He lived on "Rag Row" which was very close to Washington St and Market St in WB. That was also the site of the old Wilkes Barre Burying Ground. I read that many of the graves were transferred to City Cemetery (River St.), probably when the current courthouse and city hall were built - I'm guessing around 1886 from the glut of burials in City Cemetery that year. Conrad would have died anywhere from 1840 to 1870. Any thoughts?

Looking for grave for James Gordon Hardwick (born 1964)

You helped me before with a marker photo in the Phoenix Area. I have created a memorial for my schoolmate James Gordon Hardwick. James died in 2001. His obituary is quite brief and says that the arrangements were handled by "Arizona Aftercare". I have been trying to find out the location of his marker. I cannot locate his sister, Mary Hardwick Hill, so I have no way of finding out its location. AZ aftercare gave me a song and dance about losing the records.

Do you have any ideas about how I could do a search of the Cemetaries in the Phoenix area?

Jenn O.
Linder - Fernwood
Hi Joyce,

I've looked for the Linder stone a few times without luck so I stopped in the office today. They confirmed there was a stone, but in 1951 they were listed as "2 markers in dangerous [condition] - buried same".

I did get a copy of the plot record which lists all of the people interred in this Linder plot. There 6 people total and I have their names, ages of a few of them, and burial dates. Would you like me to scan this for you and email it to you?
