I'm sorry. I don't know anything about Helen. I entered much of the Moore Cemetery from a list that I found posted on the web. Her name was not on it.

Bias' photos
You're welcome for the photo & I am very glad that you added the wife's memorial. I would rather the person who requests the spouse's photo to add these memorials so they can manage them. But, sometimes I will add them & gladly transfer. Have a great day!

RE: Wuest family
Thank you for your generous offer. While I have a couple Wuests in the family database, they are not a direct line.

RE: Harry Howell Headstone
Hi Carrie,
Glad to be of help and sorry I didn't see your request sooner. They did a nice job with the headstone and the staff at the cemetery were very helpful in assisting me to locate the site, and even commented that he remembered the headstone being installed.
I live in Lompoc, and am recently retired so now have time to work on my family genealogy...which is how I found out about findagrave.
Best wishes,

RE: Ethel Mae Wood
The only thing I could find is her brief obituary from The Oregonian, which has been added to her memorial.

You may either contact the funeral home or Riverview cemetery (they have historian on staff).

Hope this helps.

Betty Paulsen
Hello, I have been interested in family history since my youth because of an operation I had and then later in my teens and then more when I got married. Now that I am widowed I spend a lot of time trying to go through mounds of paper since this is all much easier to do than when I started. The reason for getting with you is that my line goes back to a Nancy Bias that married Samuel Mitchell and then to Rowland Bias and James Bias and Elizabeth Larkin. I have done a lot of research on them and have a file also, but maybe not as big as yours. I came across a story that I thought you might like to have. It was found in the Genealogy Notebooks of Guyanotte Valley, WV. If you can contact me at I can give you the story a lot eaiser than here. Then you can add it to the information. I don't know how familiar you are to Virginia and West Virginia but most of the earlier people went by nick names.
Hope to hear from you. Betty Paulsen

Mary Ann "Polly" North
Mary was only married once, her parents were Levi and Catherine Allen North.

I give John North so much credit as he gave me so much on the North and Maxwell families. It was so said that we lost him, I hope he is with all his ancestors he loved working on.

Ruth Harris
Hello I see that Henry Abrams married to Ruth Tannehill was your 4th great grandfather. His father is my 6th great grandfather.(Henry R Abraham) Your 4th great grandfather's brother Thomas (Basil) Andrew Abram (Abraham) is my 5th great grandfather. I love genealogy and I love meeting distant cousins. Nice to meet you. I have taken the Abram(s)/Abraham clear back to the 1600's if you ever want any information. Your 4th great grandfather was a very important man. It is only sad that he was shot and mistakenly killed by his son in law during a hunting trip that neither knew the other was out hunting. What a terrible way to die. Well I wish you a great day and a Happy 4th of July. God Bless.

Sharing Bias info...
Hello Carrie, I am not related, however am contributor on findagrave and recently created a lot of memorials for McComas and Bias families. Wanted to let you know that Delbert Oscar Bias mem #69489538, is now linked to his parents' memorials. Although, I am trying to determine where they are buried. Saw your note with flowers and thought you might want to edit it, removing the information that is now in memorial. Might you know where his parents are buried perhaps? I don't like unknown burial locations. Any help would be appreciated.

Janet Derting
RE: Ruford Manley
Carrie, I'm sorry I confused you. I'll try to explain.
Ruford Manley and I share the same father, not mother. So the Bias family is no kin to me. Ruford(Ruthford Gene Manley) and I, Janet Marline Manley had the same father, Floyd Edgar Manley. Floyd was married to Bertha McNeely Bias in the 30's and had Ruthford. They divorced and Floyd married my mother, Iona Verl Bruton. Ruthford is listed in Bertha Bias Obituary as her son.
Eventho he is deceased, I would like to find out about him and if he had any children.
Ruthford was born in West Virgnia and I was born in Oklahoma. I have just in the last week or so discovered him as a half-brother by searching
Anything I can find out about him would be greatly appreciated.
