Ann Heden Durbin # 40577742
I'm curious about the death date 30 May 1866 which is listed on her memorial. Ann Durbin (age 81) is found on the 1880 Census living in Tangipahoa Parish between her two sons, Calvin & James. There is no headstone photo attached to her memorial to verify the date of death. This is my aunt, so I'm trying to figure out where the date listed on her memorial came from. I'd like to have the correct date for my records. Can you shed any light on this? Thanks in advance!

I so appreicate you taking the time to photograph my great grand-father and grand-mother's gravestone at Greenlawn Cemetery. You've inspired me to add myself as a volunteer to also take photos.

RE: Lucinda Siddon Sparks
when you fulfill a photo request which I did for you it keeps track of the number you do which is seperate from just doing memorials and adding a photo. I am a photo volunteer and if I take it off of the memorial you requested then it messes up the volunteer photo request numbers that I have fulfilled. It messes up the counts by making it have a false number of photo requests that I have fulfilled. Look at line 6 under the contributor tab of any contributor and it says the number of volunteer photos that a person has taken (I.E. what I did for you today by fulfilling the request for you) Just send me the links and info and I will add it to mine for you. I am the county coordinator for Knox County on TXGENWEB and the Knox City Cemetery has been a project I am trying to complete.

having already added them to the memorial posted that was requested I can not add them to the second memorial without losing credit for the photo request which is something I do not want to do.

Looking through my pics of cemetery I find no named headstones/markers for the 6 photo requests you have requested at Rose Park -- if there, they are unmarked/broken/unreadable

RE: Allen Pics
Hi, They were in the center of the old cemetery (not a very large plot of land) across the road and directly across from the church entrance. Reverand Allen's Monument was the tallest and his wife's was hidden in an overgrown cammelia bush. In case you could not read inscriptions: A minister of the Gospel 59 years
Pastor of Amite Church 45 years
Moderator of the Eastern La. Baptist Assoc. 34 years.
In Memory of Rev. W. B. Allen
Born July 6, 1809
Died Sept 26, 1887
Age 78 years
2 mo & 20 dys.

And you are Welcome....B.
