Got him, his mother fixed up. Also saw where Dr, Milton Gary was in that ememtery and researched and found a lot on him. Created a memorial for him.

RE: Beulah and James H McLane
Hi! At the time of my visit to the cemetery, the true name was the Ozley McLane Nabors Cemetery. My father, Tom McLane, and I both even took photos of the iron entrance to the cemetery bearing the name. I did not know that it had been changed and I thank you for steering me in the right direction!

RE: Beulah and James H McLane
So sorry for the late reply! I was unable to respond to any of my emails until now. When I first entered Beulah and James into the site, the cemetery where I found them was named the Ozley McLane Nabors Cemetery in Shelby County. But I do thank you for your response!

Glad I was able to get a picture that was readable. I had to brush and chalk the headstone so that the inscription could be read.

Carden
I finally got all the Carden's transferred to the correct cemetery. Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery is also known as Spring Creek.

Thanks for the corrections.

RE: Photo Requests at Spring Creek Cem.
Those are her parents and I would love to have the pictures...but how do I request them if they are not listed at the cemetery?

Do you happen to know anything about his sister's (Mary Frances) marriages or children? Thank you.

Cothran family
Hi Soxie,
I noticed you recently added a photo for Henry Olin Cothran and was wondering if you are familiar with this family. I am researching one of his sisters.
Thank you,
Heather

RE: Elliottsville Cemetery
OH this just gets worse! Didn't know about the Presby. Church entry, but the church in front of Elliottsville is Cumberland Presby. There is a sign Elliottsville Cemetery so I don't know if this (Alabaster) is another cemetery or what. Still Memorial has its own sign, and there is a road into Still but there is no spacing between the two cemeteries. There is also a cemetery behind Elliottsville that I have seen referred as the Black (perhaps the black) cemetery and I believe the old Siluria Mills cemetery may be in back of Still. Google Shelby Co., AL cemeteries and there is a survey of Elliottsville which explains better than I can. I think it may say there are five cemeteries, not sure. I use this site if I can't read a marker completely. What a mess! Please let me know of any solutions. I haven't started photographing near the Still Memorial sign, just because of all this confusion and I live in Alabaster!
