Urgent-Emerson memorial issues
Hi Tim
I have a question. You have memorials for James Emerson Jr and his wife Sarah Evens Emerson at the Gladney-Reeves Cemetery.. I just noticed someone else has memorials for the also at Croom Cemetery... Same photos I think.
I am related and desperately need to know where they are actually buried. This is the memorial number to your James Emerson Jr. 158856469 and this is the memorial number to the other one 83487792. Same personm they have him linked to wife Sarah, his parents, children, etc.

I am hoping maybe you can contact the other person and figure out what is what so that I can properly add them to my records. I'd sure appreciate your help.

Thanks for everything.. If you are related to them I'd love to talk to you. James Jrs parents are my 5th great grandparents...

Thanks!
Gregg

Kelly K
Shaw family Cemetery
Thanks for contacting me and providing the link to your website. I visited it and it is a wonderful website. I was able to confirm with your photo that is the same cemetery. Yes I am a Shaw descendant but not of this Daniel Shaw. My Daniel A Shaw was born 1812 in NC and died in TX about 1876. There is a member on ancestry who seems to think my Daniel Shaw and their Daniel Shaw is the same person and is buried at that cemetery so I have tried to investigate. I see the dates of the Daniel Shaw of that cemetery are not even close so it's not the same one. Thanks for confirming the correct cemetery and the hard work you have done on the website.

Hi Tim
I saw the photos you added for Shaw Family Cemetery. There is a photo of a barn on ancestry.com for this cemetery also. Can you confirm this is the same cemetery? I could send you this photo via email if needed.

Alexander Benthall
Tim, Thanks so much for taking the time to search for a tombstone for Alexander Benthall. His death records indicates that is where he is buried but I guess no one was able to get his marker for him.

Allen McD. Cameron
Tim. I really appreciate all of your efforts to find the grave marker for Allen M. Cameron in Union Grove Cemetery, Haywood County, Tenn. The Tennessee Death Record indicates that he is buried in Union Grove Cemetery but evidently in an unmarked grave, which happens a lot. He was unmarried so probably had no one to assure he had a marker.

Thanks again!

RE: Ballard
Hi Tim,
Thank you for checking. The cemetery being in Brownsville makes a lot of sense, since that's where part of the maternal family had been living. I think it's safe to say they either didn't have markers or they've sunken into the ground. Thank you again for checking and for the verification on the cemetery. One mystery solved!

Ballard
Hi Tim,
Regarding Flora & Willie Ballard: Flora's death certificate states she was buried in "Woodland" cemetery in "Madison co". Willie's death certificate states he was buried in "Woodland" cemetery in "Mercer". They both died in Madison County. Do you know what cemetery this would actually be, if Woodland cemetery in Mercier, Madison county doesn't actually exist?

Thanks for all the photos - appreciate it, however, there is one problem - Richard Brown's memorial (#27347069) also has a picture of the A.J./Edna Thompson stone. Would you please delete the extra picture from Richard - Thanks

Thanks for looking for A Teague at Wortham Cemetery. Too bad it seems he has no marker. The marker you did find for J. Teague is his brother, Josiah T. Teague.

What a nice surprise! You took a photo of his grave for me! Thank you so very much. I have researched this man for many years. He raised the children of one of my ancestors. Thank you so much for going out to that cemetery and finding his grave and doing this for me.
