Photo requests

You ask for a photo of Hilts in Bethel Cemetery.
I can not find this Cemetery.
There are many Hilts at Stayner Cemetery.
Which is easy to locate.

There is the same name at Stayner Cemetery.
Could it be the one?

Sharron Smith Tyrrell
RE: Daniel M. Tyrrell
I received an email from a relative of Daniel Tyrrell b.1854 and Carrie Shaw Tyrrell. He said that Daniel b.1854 is buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery (no headstone) near or next to other Tyrrells. I only went by the death certificate that said he was buried in Ithaca. You may want to put him back on as you had him. Sometimes this genealogy is so confusing.

Sorry I mislead you,
Sharron Tyrrell

Shirley would you please connect Albert and Rachel Temple #31879704 & 31879842. Also Rachel was the sister of my great great grandmother, Ruth Ellen Flynn Hook. Would you please connect Rachel to Thomas Flynn #116594135 and Rachel Flynn #116538613. Thank You. Scott

Photo request for William Tyrell
I visited Mount Hope Cemetery in Brantford today but was unable to find a headstone. However, I did find one for John W Tyrrell, husband of Margaret, and that of their son Geo. Archibald. I took photos since they are likely related.

According to the records, also buried in the plot are Donald, a child, William (the one you are looking for) and Philip. I'm planning on going back before October, so I'll have a look again, just in case I overlooked it.

If you would like the photos I took let me know. The headstone is badly weathered, but I copied the inscription as best I could.

Virginia D Murray Temple
Hi Shirley, I saw your memorial for Virginia D Murray Temple on findagrave and note you have a virtual cemetery including her. I was wondering if you know where her parents; Sara Ayotte and Antoine/Anthony Murray are buried? I am related through Virginia's brother, Joseph Trifly Murray and am also researching the Murray lineage. If you have any info on Sara, Anthony, or any of the other children or sibblings, it would be appreciated.

You are very welcome. I photographed it in the afternoon and then went back in the morning the next day to see if it would be clearer, but it is really worn. I didn't see Margaret, but I will head down to the library and check the transcript to see if I can locate her.

Sharron Smith Tyrrell
RE: Daniel M. Tyrrell
Hi Shirley, Yes we are related to Daniel. Daniel and Laurena Tyrrell are my husbands 1st great granduncle and aunt.
I found a source for Orlando b. 1854 to Daniel and Laurena.

Citing this Record

"United States Census, 1870," index and images, FamilySearch ( : accessed 25 Mar 2013), Orlando Tyrrill in household of Daniel Tyrrill, Michigan, United States; citing p. 15, family 116, NARA microfilm publication M593, FHL microfilm 552171.

Could you look at the Pine Cemetery post for Daniel. I think the death record looks like it had a different name under the first name of D. M.
Let me know what you think.

How are you related to the Tyrrell family?

Daniel M. Tyrrell
Hi Shirley, I can not find any record of Daniel Moss Tyrrell and Laurena Silverthorn having a son Daniel. I did find a son Orlando Tyrrell b. 1854.

Daniel M. b. 1854 is also listed in the Pine Cemetery.

Daniel M. Tyrrell b. 1854 Is listed as spouse of Carrie Shaw.

I can not figure this one out.

Is there a record of his burial in the Ithaca Cemetery? I have been to Daniel and Laurena's grave. I did not see a son Daniel near them.

Any help would be appreciated,
Sharron Tyrrell

Sue Seeterlin Rice
Hi Shirley,

I looked at the death cert too. Evidently he died in a Hospital that knew nothing of his family or birth. Very Sad. I will look further at the library for any info, but Waterford has a very extensive record of all burials dating back over 100+ years. I also did not find any other Jessel's in Oakland County. Could he have been buried in Pontiac. If there were no funds for burial, we could see about Oak Hill or Mt Hope Catholic Cemetery. Let me know what you think.
