RE: McManus/Smith Connection
Constance, Eugene and David are all interred at the Central Cemetery on Old Center Street in Middleboro, Ma. David was their only child. I believe Constance's parent are interred at the same location. Sorry I don't have better news for you. Eugene was my god father.

Polly Cole, Duck Creek Cemetery, Wellfleet
I was wondering when your photo of her stone was taken. Clicking on your photo indicates it was uploaded on 6/22/2009. Polly Cole's stone is now broken in 3 pieces. I'm trying to ascertain when this may have happened, so if you know when your photo was taken, it may help to narrow down the time frame. If you want to email me privately, my email is Donna13th@aol dot com Thanks!

Whispered Past
Martha S Pender

I just sent in an edit for Martha (my 4th Great Aunt). I've found a death certificate that states she died in Northwood, NH on August 19, 1867 not 1897. Please accept the changes - thanks!

Thank you for the offer to transfer management. Joshua and Eunice (Young) Pierce are my ggg-grandparents. That would be wonderful if you would transfer them. The old stones are indeed beautiful. I hope to make it down to Wellfleet one of these days to visit Duck Creek Cemetery, as well as Oakdale Cemetery, where other Pierces and related families are buried.

Earle Soukup
Rev. Jermain Bodine

You created a nice memorial for Jermain Bodine. He and I attended Palm Beach HS together. At the time he was known either as Jermain or JJ, not "J". Did his name change later in life?

Samuel (Lt. Goodhue (1777-1855)
Thanks for your note. My file shows Lt. Samuel Goodhue (1777-1855), Find A Grave# 100644682 ,died November 30, 1855. One marker at the Goodhue-Fellows Cemetery in New Hampshire shows 1855 and the other could be either 1855 or 1853 -- hard to read. However, the 1853 one also says he was 78+ years old when he died, indicating that 1855 is probably the correct year.

Jeremiah Berry
Thanks so much for your note. I don't know if there will be any stones for Jeremiah Berry, Jr. who died sometime between 1813 when he gave his land to his wife, Johanna Felker, and 1817, when he father's will was written. His parents are in the Crown Point Cemetery. This is his father's memorial: 62175775 and his mother: 62198227. His brother William is also there: 62185979 along with his three wives. Jeremiah's widow, Johannah, lived her widowhood in the household of brother William. She died in 1850 and may have been buried in a Free Will Baptist Churchyard if there is one in Barrington, or Strafford. I found her death notice in a book of "death notices" of Free Will Baptist Churches. The death record for a Jeremiah Berry whose body was moved to Crown Point from the Berry Family Cemetery in 1911 may or may not be Jeremiah Berry, Jr., husband of Johannah Felker Berry, but it was the only record I've found with dates that closely fit this man. If he's really there, I imagine he would be somewhere near the above family. I appreciate your interest. Michael Evans, Warner, NH.

Alice I have been to this cemetery many times and never knew about a tier system. I do know that there is an old, not so old, and a new section. Someone you looking for?
