RE: Arthur Whiting
Hi Patrick,
What I have found is that people who HAVE done the research are quite quick at responding to my request and the other types I never hear from again!

I do hope you let someone know about the wrong cemetery so they can correct it.It is such an easy thing to do, once you know how :-))

Take care and keep up the good work

Hi Patrick

Thank you, what you wrote shows you "had done your homework", so sad that some do not!

Hi Patrick,

Due to people sending bogus edit requests, Unless it is very obvious from the inscription on the marker, I now ask if folks have documentation to back up their "edit" requests. (Just let me know where you found said documents or if the person is closely related to you)

Thanks

Alison

Could I trouble you for Elizabeth's immigration record, please. I know I should be able to search it, but I am a newbie and need help.
Elizabeth was a good friend of my late mother-in-law. It is neat to have her maiden name and date of arrival in CAnada.!
Her second husband Erwin, played his violin at our wedding in 1960!!

Thank you so much.
It was amazing to see his record of immigration and also death record!
I was able to get Elizabeth's maiden name.!
By chance do you have her record of immigration?
I am wondering where she was born and her parents??
Good work Patrick!

Hi Patrick,
I am wondering if maybe Martin was born in Romania. Mind you it was the Austro -Hungarian Empire in 1895. Austria doesn't seem quite right.
It was Romania after 1918. I guess Find a Grave doesn't provide Austro-Hungary. Maybe just a note in Bio, would suffice.
My father-in-law used to go fishing with Martin Lehoczky, back in the thirties.!!
It is wonderful to record their data!!!!

re your FAG photos
Many thanks for the wonderful work you and other Find A Grave contributors do by taking photos of Grave Markers. I wonder if your photos are copyright or can I share them on my family tree on Ancestry.com. I will give you the photo credit eg Photo Credit: Thanks to "Patrick Murphy", Find A Grave Website, Photo used with permission. Many thanks, Barb Muir Gillespie-from Australia

Hi Patrick,

Thank you for your work. I really do appreciate it.

What does it mean if you turn the memorial over to me?

Interesting. I don't know why the colors and clarity or so different, but I don't remember what camera I was using, or perhaps cell phone, 3 years ago. I'm all in favor of the best picture possible.

Betsy
Jacob and Catherine Schwenn Memorials
Thank you Patrick for beautiful memorials for my family. Your work is the first I have encountered that adds details that typically only family members provide.

Your contribution to the search for ancestors is greatly appreciated.
Warm regards,
Betsy

RE: Stiefelmeyer
Glad it was helpful for you. I always prefer to use an obit provided by the funeral home, as they tend to supply them freely and rarely invoke a copyright privilege.

Mount Royal Cemetery Photo Request
Mount Royal Cemetery has 165 acres. The burial plot location must be supplied so a volunteer can go take the photo.

You can get this free information by filling the form here: www.mountroyalcem.com/index.php/en/our-services/genealogy-menu.html and in the "Desired Service" field, select "Burial Location (free)" and enter the information.

If the Genealogy page was not helpful then email your request to genealogy@mountroyalcem.com

The cemetery will email you the location (3-10 working days).

Have the memorial updated with the plot number.

You will have made it possible for the photo to be taken.

RE: Anna Weseloh
I wasn't at all offended. I did create 1 dupe, and deleted it - it's just that I couldn't find another page for Anna Weseloh. I never create dupes intentionally, and if I do, I promptly delete them.

According to the OCFA, there is an Anna Weseloh, as well as an Ann A. Weseloh, I created both pages. I find no indication I have duped. 519-716-4359

Emma Kramp
Thank you so much for adding her on with her parents and siblings. This is my grandmother's family and I am related to both Daniel and Emma. I was given a considerable amount of data by a family member in Canada and have been adding it on so the whole family hopefully will be connected. The Kramps picked their spouses, as far as possible, from inside their own family ranks, in many cases marrying cousins. My grandmother was from Shantz Station and came to Central New York with an elder sister in 1898.She married my grandfather and raised a family of ten children, mostly by herself. My Dad was one of them.

I really must re-read the note before hitting send...LOL

RE: Plomske
You're welcome.

Some of the family's "married in" were shirt tail to me, but I would like to have them all. The one in the other cemetery...where I took the gravestone has a female who is part of my tree.
