I came across that photo in the back of a late 1800's county map. The back several pages had lots of photos of the more well known people of the county at the time and I felt since the photos were made public that they should be shared in case any descendants would like to have them. Sorry I cant help you with any other information.

GOD Bless

RE: Isaac Blades
Hi again, I have no proof of my Luke Blades being born in Maryland but believe that that is where his family was before moving to North Carolina and his wife's family was from Caroline County MD. She was an Osborne. Luke had a son named Isaac so now I am wondering if your family and my family is somehow connected. Luke was born about 1754 and my Isaac was born about 1780. Just wishing I could locate Luke's family---brothers and sisters and parents.

Isaac Blades
Hi, Do you know anything more about the Isaac Blades buried in Hopkins County KY? Do you know where he was born? My ancestor was also Isaac Blades the son of Luke Blades probably born in Abbyville South Carolina. Just curious. Thanks.

Katie Schuler Bachman
A Facebook post showed a death certificate for "F. Katie Bachman" who died in 1909, was married to a John Bachman. However, she died in Lancaster Co., was born in the wrong year and had the wrong parents. I am still looking!

RE: Katy Schuler Bachman

Do you happen to have a memorial number? I can't find any memorials with those names that I manage.

Not only were there two Katie Schuler Bachmans, but both of them had a George and Amanda as parents. Link to image of marriage certificate:!/photo.php?fbid=10205578923565325&set=p.10205578923565325&type=1&theater

How can this be? I'm really stuck on this now.

RE: George S. Schuler
George Schuler had a daughter, Katie. She died quite young and was married to my grandfather John Bachman. Do you know when and where she died? Do you know where she is buried?

Thank you,

He's related to the Helfrich family. Do you know him? He died in 1930.

Leo and Cecelia Heintz
You created memorials for my great uncle Leo and great aunt Cecelia. Are you a relative on the Brown side of the family? If so do you have any contacts who might have a stash of old photos?

RE: Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes
its all one park but the old park is called fairview and the new part is Memorial Park Cememtery. But someone goes and enters anyone who pass away in Vincennes City park, I know the person who runs it, let me talk to him and see if I am right on this. And I have entered my own family names in and have not used the vincennes city park item. Does this make sense.

My understanding is that Vincennes is divided into smaller sections such as Memorial

Guess we're 6th cousins by marriage. Your husband descends from James and Nancy (Bolling) Belcher and I descend from Berry and Jane (Trimble) Belcher, both sons of John and Martha (Johnston) Belcher.

I was just wondering where you came up with the birthdate for John Belcher Sr? I know this date is quoted often, but I've never found the source of it.

Thanks and happy hunting!

RE:"Virginia (Pauley) Tews

If you know either Dale or Brenda (or other close relatives), please ask them to contact me.

Many thanks!

I'm glad I could help, (find your second great-grandfather Byron Bostick's memorial). It was very level to the ground, but not too distant from the main road into the cemetery. The broken headstone- of what may be another of your relatives- was immediately-west, (and is included in one of my pictures). Let me know if you want me to edit that?

Yes you may include the photos I have. Thank you for asking permission and for giving me credit for the pictures you use.

Thank you.
