Paul Keller
Hello- thought I would let you know my husband and I were out at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery near Gordonville, Mo. today and took a picture of the grave of Paul Keller. Your memorial page is very nice - now your picture is not at the top so I wondered if that is o.k. with you or maybe you can download it and submit it again so it will be at the top. This cemetery is one of the nicest ones I've been to for pictures. We still are not finished and I took over 100 pictures today. Have a good day. Ruth Smith

Martha Mattie Weddington Hatfield
I noticed you mentioned the memorials for Valentine Hatfield (1789 - 1872) & Martha Weddington Hatfield (1789 - 1867) have been removed. Do you know why that is? Martha Mattie Weddington Hatfield was a sister a x great grandfather. Valentine..the son of Ephraim 1764. I'm wondering if the link was wrong somehow.

Thanks for the reply... I feel better now :)
I remember now that I look at this memorial, I just wanted to walk around this pretty cemetery, and I was hoping that he had family. I am so happy that his cousin is looking after him. This is a beautiful cemetery, and it was just a lark that I stopped there that day and photographed a few graves.

I've transferred management of this memorial to you. I'm so sorry I didn't know about the edits you'd suggested! They didn't send an email that there were edits pending... the first email I had was of your transfer request. I don't have many memorials, so I don't actually visit the site every day, just when I get an email.
Have a good day.

RE: Francis H. WHETHAM
Yes his sister Ida was my grandmother. I've done a lot of research on the Whetham line and also have the Whetham Connections book written by Maxine Kaul and a Boddham/Whetham book to aid in my research. I don't have the N.J. Whetham line at all (at least yet) but do have much of the Thomas Bradford Whetham line. If you'd like to correspond privately my email is decap at dwu dot edu

Again, I ask that you PLEASE include your membership # when requesting transfers. Better yet is if you use the "Edit" procedure like you did before.

Oak Grove and Maplelawn
Hello!

I noticed your messages on Quantum's wall. Please note that Oak Grove and Maplelawn cemeteries in Paducah, Kentucky are two entirely different cemeteries. There is no need for a merge and no need for an "AKA". They are not known as the other. If there was any land purchased decades ago that will not affect the memorials that were created within either. I'm sure there are a few random slips that have worked their way in (such as the Beasley memorial) and when these issues arise I will personally find out which cemetery the memorial should be in. I plan on continuing to photograph both cemeteries and when they are both done I will make sure there are not duplicates, plops, etc. I have spent dozens of hours in both cemeteries and at home creating memorials and uploading photos. I would hate to see this progress destroyed by a single memorial that confused a contributor that does not reside in this area. If you have any questions about any memorials created in either cemetery please let us know and we will be glad to look into it for you. Both cemeteries combined have about 50,000 burials which could potentially turn into a huge problem if combined. Please be cautious when requesting to merge these two as it's not necessary.

I unlinked the parents. I usually specifically look at birthdates when I am approving Edits but obviously missed this one. Thanks for letting me know.

In the future, please include your membership # in your message requesting a transfer so I don't have to hunt for it.

Joseph W Beasley
Hi AlaskanPrincess,

I took the photos in Maplelawn so those headstones exist for sure. Also if you click the photo you can see the full size version http://image2.findagrave.com/photos/2015/77/UNCEM_1426746779043.jpg

Maplelawn and Oak Grove are back to back. You can actually see Oak Grove in the background in the pictures I posted. I think the Oak Grove one is in error.

There are some Beasleys in Oak Grove but Joseph W is not listed in their official records http://www.paducahky.gov/~paducahky/sites/default/files/BBURIAL_-_1800_THRU_1999web.pdf so I think the Oak Grove one is in error.

RE: Carol
Hi..If you want to transfer her to me that would be great. I was trying to figure out how to get Carol's and Tom's to reference each other... I guess I have to put in Tom sr. and Greta and then it will make them siblings. I love that you did this for Carol. I found it thru Ancestry. Hope all is well. Lisa

Clarice had a picture of her grandfather , I have never seen one of him or my great Aunt Clofus Montana Olea , I have been collecting pictures for a long time and the Olea family is hard to find I have some. Have met some of there great grand children on Face Book , funny place to meet your cousins so I keep in touch with them on Face Book . Well Thank You for your work on Find a Grave I think the same way you do so about helping cousins find there family and pictures.

RE: THANK YOU - You are AWESOME!
Laurel Grove is a very large cemetery. I think about 86,000 burials. It is sometimes difficult to get info from the office which is why the grave photos are a great help. I have lots of family there and one day I will be there also. Unfortunately I have been unable to get there to take photos since I am taking care of my father. I hope to get back to it at some point as I find it very relaxing. I am very happy to have been of help to you. Let me know which ones are your relatives and they will be transferred. I also have Coopers in Cedar Lawn ~ William Cooper ~ Willem Klepper and wife Martha Koman. Any relation to your Coopers?

Susan Martin
RE: MARTIN Family
Unfortunately there are too many woman in my family whose name is the same. Let's start with #69575684, Zulema Gemmell
(Martin) Hayes. She is the mother of #69575508 Z. Gemmell Hayes and Frank Hayes #60575477 is simply Frank Hayes the husband of the former and the father of the latter.

Since I can't remember when or why I offered the corrections I will clarify that Frank Gunter is the husband of "Zue" Martin Gunter, the niece of #6957568 and neither Frank Gunter or Zue are buried with the above. Sorry for any confusion I may have added. I think they spelled their names differently as well.

Sue Martin ( I escaped being called Zue!)

Some corrections : Dr. martin's wife was Dora Elizabeth Field. His daughter's name was Zuelmma Gemmell Martin or Mrs. Frank Gunter.
