|RainbowGal||Lee May - Macdonia Cemetery|
Hi: Do you have any more info about Lee May. I have been to Macedonia twice and taken all the May stone photos, but have never found Lee.
Look on web site called cemeteriesonly.com - go to Macedonia cemetery - see what you think. I get that way about twice a year.
Hey, I am a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy - unusual - I joined the Nathan Bedford Forrest Chapter in Cicero, Indiana. Unusual I know since my husband and I live in Tennessee, but out roots are in Indiana - my great great grandfathers - Louisiana and Indiana Quaker fought each other at Shiloh. Say what you want, General Forrest had an excellent war record.

I am a member of the UDC and have conducted the Iron Cross ceremony here in Tennessee for a sister member who has passed - it was on her bucket list to honor her great grandfather.
I chose to join the Nathan Bedford Forrest chapter in Noblesville, Ind. They are so active and my husband and I are originally from Ind.
Note that I took several May family pictures and put them on the site. Week Christmas, we had a reenactment of the battle of Sugar Creek - not far from me - Sugar Creek was officially the last battle in Tennessee as General Forrest fought to get his men home.

|Joanne Bouslough||Cemetery photo & info.|
Just a note to thank you for the wonderful photo! Everything is perfectly clear!
Thank you, too, for the information re: Edward D. Neely. A lengthy overview of the Neely family indicated that both he & his wife Judy were buried in Crowley Cemetery. I couldn't locate him on Find-a-Grave. Edward was living in OK 30 years after Judy died. I'll research there.
Blessings on your family adventure!

It has been several years since we wrote back and forth. Every time I see your name I think "I should write Barry and see how he is doing". I'm not sure but I think we hooked up on the Morgans' if not them then it was probably Kilgore

|Marty and Julie Spillman Stewart||RE: Samuel Anderson|
You are welcome. Also, I am aware of a CSA veteran that is buried in Carthage City Cemetery, but he has no stone and I do not know the exact location, but it is most likely next to his wife who has a stone. Would I be able to get a memorial stone for him and place near his wife?

|Suzanne Murphey Porter||Photo of William Ezekiel Murphy pic you posted|
I'm in the process of proving William Ezekiel Murphy is our ancestor through his son, Chesley, then his son, Tom M. Murphey. I was fascinated to see the picture of William Ezekiel Murphy you added to his Find A Grave. How did you have the picture of him to post, and do you know about what year it was taken? It would mean a great deal to me if I could get a better copy of this picture. Tom M. Murphey came to Anderson County, Texas, and the rest of my line of Murphey's have been from around Athens and Corsicana since then. Thanks so much for any information you can give me.

|Michael Harrington||William Turk|
"The VA stone that is pictured on Wm Frank Turk's memorial page is no longer there. It had the wrong information and was removed and replaced. As a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans we, representing the family, did the job Sept 2 2012. That photo should be removed and replaced with the new one.
Thank you so much for your kind email. I am sorry to report that I cannot remove said picture because I did not enter it. I apologize for the inconvenience.
