I just came across your daughters story, and it touched my heart.
I am so sorry that you lost your daughter in such a tragic manner. I wrote to you on Virtual Memorials, but I'm not sure if they'll post it.
I was in an abusive marriage and by the grace of God I got out with my life. I know all to well how corrupt the system is. When I went to court for my ex beating me, I was the ONLY woman there out of the 75 cases of domestic violence being heard that morning. Most of the "men" there pleaded guilty, which I found astonishing. The ones that plead not guilty, didn't get a thing. My ex plead not guilty. So, it went to trial at the end of all the cases being heard. The "judge" said that it was my fault that I stayed and I deserved the consequences because I knew he was abusive. The States attorney apologized, he was in shock. I told him, now I know why none of the other girls showed up. Even the arresting officer came over to me and hugged me and said he was sorry that the system failed me. That was DuPage County.
That is NOTHING in comparison on how the system FAILED your daughter and your family. My heart hurts for you. To know that scum bag will be out one day, after taking two lives, it's a horrid injustice. He should have life without the possibility of parole. When I googled his name and saw that he is able to get emails on I am appalled! He's lonely and wants friends! Boo hoo! He shouldn't be allowed to have any type of connection to the outside world. I cannot believe that they are letting him do that.
I suggest you go on to get your daughters story out there. Get others to see that the officials in your daughters case ARE corrupt. That a new trial needs to be heard so that he NEVER gets out of jail.
I pray that you find comfort in knowing that your daughter is in Heaven and watching over you and your family. God Bless you.
My deepest sympathies,

Thank you so much for all the photos you have taken. It certainly has helped me as I do family research.

Linda~Miracles still happen!! Thank you VERY VERY much for photographing these two stones of Grandpa John Zerby's wives. I thought after this much time had passed that maybe no one lived near that cemetery, and maybe you don't. So, if you traveled far to fulfill these requests, may you be abundantly blessed. [even if you didn't travel far, bless you :)] I hoped that maybe if I traveled the 60 miles to fulfill some requests that were sent to me, that maybe someone else would do it for me some I did, and you did! How wonderful!! Thanks again.
