I usually do not contact the cemetery, I just gpo to the library and look up the location, then start walking. If you want to add a request for Martha, the next time I am in the area, I will see if she is in the book. Ben

You are very welcome. I enjoy going to Owenton, but the older part can be difficult. Coming from downtown Owenton the first entrance, This stone was located on the right side of the road in the narrow part of the section. Only 6 to 8 lots wide. Ben

Deborah,
Are you related to the Beckham family by any chance? I see you have left several flowers and submitted several edits for them.

Lowell Cemetery #26580373 Benjamin Franklin Marlett Update
Just to let you know that I found the Death Notice of B.F. Marlett and have now updated his Memorial with the information from The Baxter Springs News, published Saturday 31./1902 Page 8 Column 4. I have clipped it and if you would like me to send you the jpg, email me at Pflughoeft@aol.com and I will send it to you. RE: Mahlon Marlett
I've sent some things I found on him to your yahoo address listed here on your profile page.

Seems he sort of used both names regularly. Doesn't really help as far as that goes, but there's some neat records for you to have!

RE: Mahlon Marlett
It's my pleasure. It seems that I recall seeing in the record in the cemetery office a note that Mahlon was the first name on the marker. Now, they wouldn't have made a note of that if it was just his regular first name, I would think. I mean, I've never seen that before.

Do you have ancestry. com? I can look around there for you if you'd like.

RE: Richard Breeding
He's my 6th great grandfather. I'm descended from son Richard, then Richard, Jr., Richard Owen, Richard Perry, Anna Eliza Breeden, Erma Watson, etc. This is a very well documented line with a lot of living descendants.
You did a great job with your memorial.
Thanks
Pat S.

RE: Hester Courter
Hello there Deb,
Thanks so much for straightening out my mom Hester's picture for me. I am trying to pull more pictures and post I have a couple of 8x10's that I cannot rotate they appear straight on my computer but when I add them they are sideways on find a grave.... anyway I wanted to ask you if anyone has any pictures of Grandma Kate's daughter Gertrude? I remember mom telling me that she died very young I see you added her she was 25. I didn't find any in mom's pictures she lost most of hers in the flood's since we lived so close to the Ohio river. I appreciate all you do.
