Ada Lucille Miller
Thank you for Ada's memorial. No one told me about her death. I am her first cousin and talked to her for the past few years. I would never have know about her death.

Thank you for replying. My great grandmother, Laura Rebecca Cole, was married to Joseph Sim Thomas, the son of Sarah Morris. So she is not direct blood related, but still she is related.

No Lisa I have not deleted mine. If you want to delete yours at the Mt Zion Cemetery at Olden that would be fine. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and will enjoy many blessings in the New Year. Kathy

Sarah Moris Thomas FAG #22039932
Would it be convenient for you to take another photo of the grave marker for Sarah "Sally" Morris Thomas Find A Grave Memorial# 22039932? The date of death listed on Find A Grave says 1884, but her youngest son was born in 1886 according to his death certificate. I would just like to verify the year on her grave marker. I can see "1 8 8".

May I use the gravemarker photo that you contributed to the memorial page of Wilkins Battis, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

William Howard
Lisa, last summer I photographed Mt. Zion cemetery at South Fork and added a memorial for William Howard. I was looking for his son, also named William, and discovered that you had created a memorial for William, the father, at Mt. Zion in Olden in 2008. If you would like to change the cemetery for your memorial I will delete the one I created and add my picture to yours. You may add any of the information I have on the one I created to yours and I will link his children and wife to yours also.

RE: Carl Wake photo request
Hi, We checked Carl's gravesite about two weeks ago and saw there had been a cement slab poured for the headstone to sit on. We will check the cemetery again today to see if the stone has been set. We go to the cemetery several times so it is no problem to check. It is a beautiful cemetery, especially this time of year. Thanks, Sheila

Fred is linked to Thelma's memorial 15410997. Thelma's memorial shows joint stone with Fred but that is only info shown on Fred's side. You should be able to link with Thelma and get to see marker with his name. Hope this helps.

Hi again,
I got a copy of his death cert and the year is 1911. It looks like whoever added the stone did not get the dates right, maybe done years later? I added his mother and father's memorial numbers. Tried to do his sister but can't find the screen to do it.

I noticed that the birth year on his stone is 1900 and in the memorial is 1899. Is there a way to synch those years? At some point, I would like to get him transferred to me. On my "to do" list. He was my grandmothers baby brother.

RE: Alta Bay
How confusing! Seems like there were 2 Alta Medley's, both born in Missouri. I believe the one I'm looking for was a twin (twin sister, Alta,....which adds to the confusion) born in 1912, dying in 1999. So I believe that you're right. Alta Bay's parents were John Henry Medley and Margaret Angeline Pittman. It looks like "My" Alta Medley died in Arizona, and had parents Willis and Maude Harrell Medley. So please remove the parent info on Alta Bay. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll keep digging.

Will see what I can find next trip to the Research Center. Looked in my book of deaths in Holt County up to 1981. There are some Wake's, but no Thomas or Nancy.
