Sorry for the delay in responding - I was travelling and just got back. Carol is a member of my family tree. If you have any updates for her memorial, I would be happy to make them.

Would you prefer I transfer mine to you or would you prefer to create one of your own and I can delete mine ??

RE: Our Savior's Lutheran, Sacred Heart
I'm from Brooklyn Center but my parents and their family grew up in Bird Island and Olivia and the surrounding areas so I have done a lot of research in that area.

RE: Barb Emerson's Memorial
Hi KP,

Not to sound rude, but could you please remove one of the headstone pictures. I want to include some other photos of her, and I'm reaching my limit without it being sponsored.

Effie Ratley's Find-A-Grave memorial #81066871 includes a narrative and some photos that appeared in the "Forensic Files" episode...

Hi,

I've already tried that. Nothing comes up. Even in the hints for my tree on ancestry, nothing right shows up.

Barb's great granddaughter
Hi KP,

Do you know if Barb Emerson's great granddaughter is buried in Fairview Cemetery. I'd love to make a memorial for her, but I need the cemetery. I'd ask my mom's cousin, but it's a sad subject being that it was her first daughter.

Virtual Cemetery: Forensic Files
Hello... you might want to add Effie Ratley (Find-A-Grave Memorial #81066871) to your Forensic Files Virtual Cemetery. Her tragic murder was featured in the Season 14 episode "Home Of The Brave". By the way, you did a great job with this!

RE: Barb Emerson's Memorial
Wayne did get a divorce with Pam, which was his wife. Maybe it wasn't mention because of the divorce He was born May 12, 1947 and died November 1990 from a fire. I never actually met Wayne because I was born 12 years (I know, I'm young, but still into genealogy) after he passed away.

RE: Barb Emerson's Memorial
Hi,

This is about Barb Emerson's son in-law, Wayne Arnell Schneider. Was he buried in Fairview Cemetery? I have the dates for his birth and death, but don't know the cemetery. Can you help me out with that?

Wow! I heard Barb knew pretty much everyone in Renville County. It was so sad to see her go. Thanks so much for the pictures of her tombstone.

RE: joe kudla
i originally did one for him because i did a search for him and found nothing. when i do a search for him now i see mine, but still don't see yours. there may be other people who, when they search for him, see mine but not yours. there's no conflicting info between the two, so i see no harm in letting it stay. feel free to take yours down, if you like.

joe kudla
hello, kp.
thanks for letting me know that you had already done a memorial for joe kudla. i only did one because i came up empty when i searched for his. i even said to my wife at the time that "all of joe's fans should be ashamed, because not one of them has done a memorial for him on find-a-grave, so i'll do it myself." i still do not find the one you did for him when i do a search for kudla, died 2008. just comes up empty. weird. i only find it when i plug in the number you sent. i wonder why.

anyway, thanks for all you do on this site. it's a good site to have, and it seems you've done a lot of good work in putting a lot of info out there. that's good.

Ann Kohout and Anton W. Horejsi are buried in St. Catherine's, south of Redwood Falls.

Where did you go to school?

RE: Steven Kahout
I think you might be confused about a Lillian Kohout who married a Horejsi. You're probably thinking of one of these two people:

1. Ann Kohout married Anton W. Horejsi; or,

2. Lillian Kohout Molitor's daughter, Joan, married Richard Horejsi (Anton's son).

I'm related to just about everyone who ever lived in or near Bechyn and I don't remember hearing about any other Horejsi/Kohout marriages.

The widow that you're referring to was Lorraine (Reese) Houdek who married Bernard Kohout after her husband Ed Houdek died (Ed was my first cousin).

As far as the name spelling, who knows? My Dad's family did the same thing (only they have three brothers with three different spellings) and I know I never liked being asked "Why" so I didn't ask the question when I was helping the Kohouts with their family tree.

I remember a while back you were interested in the Wertish family; how are you related to them?

RE: Steven Kahout
Thanx for the "QC." I'm happy to learn that someone is actually looking at all the work I did for the Kohout/Kahout family. Steven was actually one of the last Kahout family members that I posted. And, I usually do most of my work in the "wee" hours of the morning; so, I'm glad that you didn't find more errors.

I deleted 141065875 and will eventually write to the owner of 75742813 to see about consolidating the two memorials. The "757...." memorial actually reads like he died from combat related issues, which we both know is not the case. I actually rode the school bus with some of his siblings and also went to the same church.

How are you related to the Kohouts/Kahouts? I just completed a family tree for them and have lots of bios, etc. if you're interested, I'll share the info with you. I did the research work/memorials to help a distant cousin of mine who was needing some help.

Thank you for the info! John was a friend and neighbor of ours at Hobo Park. I will change his memorial to "cremated" and link him to his parents.
Thanks for the heads up on this!

I listed Danube because that was the mailing address listed on church site but that could be cause it was a P.O. Box. Theirs times I wish they just let you list the township instead of a city lol. I am related to Erna Kuester but never met her that I know off. She's a 1st Cousin 2x removed.

I found the location for St Matthews Lutheran Cemetery in Flora Township and created the cemetery. Am tried to get Leo and Erna transferred their. This is the location I came up with does it look right to you Burial is listed in wrong cemetery, should be in the St Matthews Lutheran Cemetery in Flora Township which is beside the church. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2551774&CScnty=1374&CSsr=61&
