RE: Hello, Again!
Hi Malynda,

Thanks for not giving up on Earnest! It'd be great to have a picture of his gravemarker someday. Don't knock yourself out trying to search for it though. It would be awesome if they have that old map - maybe it would show right where the grave is, which would of course make going to look for a marker that much easier. Of course, it is possible too that there isn't a marker there anymore, or... if there is the writing on it might be obliterated by now too. Good luck on getting to see the map. And again, thanks so much!

Take care,

Newton T Bass
I am happy to give to do the transfer of Newton T Bass to you. I was shocked that no one had done something for him already being he did so much for our city. I look forward to what you add.

Norman Ghere
Thank you so much for the photo of my grandfather's stone. I was only 9 yrs old when he died just before Christmas. My folks took all 3 of us kids with them to South Dakota where they joined
Norman's brother to make the trip to Chehalis. We kids stayed behind. Since we had never really known our grandfather and really did not understand death & funerals, all we were concerned about was how Santa would find us. We discovered that Santa knew where every kid was all the time! LOL I do wish that we had had the opportunity to know our grandparents, but they all lived too far away. That's why I've spent so much time with my grandkids. Would you mind emailing a copy of Norman's stone to me so that I can havew it for my mother? Thank you so much for the photo!
