I just wanted to thank you for your work on Wales Cemetary. I was able to locate my husband's parents' graves (Marjorie Trace & Arnold Trace [Saegertown]) because of your dedication. Their story is quite tragic as a murder/suicide that occurred when my husband was only 2yrs old. He doesn't know much about either of them. But, thanks to you, we've now located their final resting places.

Well, I must admit that the cemetery was a guess. Her death certificate says she was buried in Hammett and I was hoping she would be buried with August. I have removed her from Wales and added a note to her memorial that I am searching for her. Thanks for trying.

There must have been a hiccup because it reads perfectly now. Before, the place of his death was in the second paragraph, not the first.

Edits for the first 5 types (Birth/Death, Relationship links, Name, Plot/GPS, & Marker transcription) will be auto-approved by the system in 21 days if not acted upon by the memorial manager.
Edits for the 6th option "Suggest any other..." that are forwarded to the edit@findagrave email address are currently back-logged to Sept. 24th, so any that you forwarded after that date should be accomplished soon.
It takes patience, my dear. I wouldn't get too excited about it unless nothing is done by the end of Oct. I still have the CC of the one I sent to you and check every few days. If it's still undone by Halloween, I'll forward it to the "Great Pumpkin" for ya. ^_^
Take care and God bless,

|Ann Alt||93077606 Memorial for Orenda Knight Bradley Martin|
Hi Carole: I noted your memorial you set up for Orenda Knight Bradley Martin, who would have been my 3rd Great Aunt. In my research, I was never able to come up with the Bradley maiden name for her, can you link me up to that info? Also, I have found two more children born and survived through a number of years to the union of Orenda Knight Martin and James Madison Martin: Martin A Martin who appears in the 1880 Census in Erie, Erie Co PA as a "publisher" but living with his parents; and Helen A Martin who appears in the 1850 and 1860 Census with the family in Sandy Creek, Venango Co, PA. I have yet to discover DOD for either of those two children.

You sent me the wrong memorial #. I researched and added links to all the family I could. If you have any bio info for him, please send it by the edit tab and I will add it.

|Rebecca Biddle||Rose Hill Info|
I too am a direct descendant of Reuben and David Blakeslee. My line traces down through William to Eva Blakeslee who married Alexander Bennett.
I am trying to find any information on early burials in Rose Hill. My Bennett line has many burials in Rose Hill, but the one I need specifically is Wolcott Bennett. He is buried next to his son, Nelson. Wolcott and his wife, Sarah, are there, but the tombstone contains no birth or death information. Wolcott died some time between 1860 and 1870. Sarah between 1850 and 1860.
Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Hello Carole I posted a photo postcard death notice on this young man. I came across it among my great aunt's and my grandmothers photos, I'm thinking he or his family may have been friends......I sent a correction request as he was listed as "daughter"

|Harold Kelley||Thank You!|
I am finally getting around to activity on Find A Grave, thanks to your gracious help last year.
This morning I added a picture of my father, Harold Dallas Kelley, to his Find A Grave page.
I'll never get done with our genealogy. Maybe you have noticed that too.

Saw your comment on Margaret Simon in this cemetery. I added a picture of the cemetery today. It is on the west side of Hannon Road about .4 mile south of US Route 20. Note, the cemetery is fenced in.

|Jennifer H||Send corrections to me|
Please send corrections or additional information to me and I will gladly update them.
I have transferred quite a few memorials over the past few months to you for the sole purpose of updating them. At least that is what the request being sent is suggesting. While I don't mind giving memorials to people, giving several at a time, a few times a month is something I will no longer do.
I appreciate that you are working with the cemetery to update the memorials. I will gladly update any memorial that you send information about and will credit you with providing the information.

You're only the second time I've transferred a close relative to someone else. Please take care of Uncle Lawrence. His wife, Aunt Agnes, is one of the people that got me started into genealogy. She was our family historian before she passed. Unfortunately, I never got any good pictures of him and he passed away before I got a good camera. Are you related to the family?

I made some of the corrections that you requested on Sept 10. I did not make all that you had requested as I do not believe some were repeats. There were some that you stated were repeats, however, the stones were different. (They appeared different, not just aged.) For those ones, I did not delete. There are times where there are multiple people with the same names in the same cemetery.
The other duplicates that were made were unintentional. I have no relatives in Wales in which I would feel like I have to "own" them. Most likely I entered a few without checking to see if they were already listed. I do that every now and then without meaning to :) I also sometimes press the enter button a second time without meaning to which makes duplicates of a same person. I try to catch them, but some do escape me :)
There is one that you state was not buried there. There was a stone and I recorded it. Just because there is not a record of them being buried there does not mean that they weren't. There is a large cemetery in Erie that I have stones for that they do not have a record of. Maybe the record was lost or destroyed or not recorded correctly. Anyway, I am not removing that memorial either because there was a stone. If you find they were buried in a different cemetery and can prove it is them, I will be more than happy to remove the memorial. Until then I will not.
I have no issue giving memorials to others as long as I'm not related.
