RE: McKenzies, Powells and Campbells
The editor from The Nelson Gazette allows me to bring home the bound newspaper books and I have typed lots of obits from them; only have about 40 years left to do, out of 125+ years; however, it has taken me several years to get them done. I also type lots of obits using newspapers.com for those in KS. I just wish that people would add them to the memorials so I don't have to go thru F-A-G to have them done.

Thank you for emailing me the obits and I will gladly add them to my memorials and also for removing the obits from Grant's memorial; that way hopefully pictures of him and his family can be added to it.

Happy Hunting!!!

Would you please delete the obits from Grant's memorial # 29678465. I am going thru the newspaper and typing the obits under the bios for Union Cemetery. This will leave more room for pictures. thanks!!!

RE: Otis Beckner grave
You're surely welcomed, Pamela...especially on a day for thanks. That area is quite barren and sad, but I always pray when I'm there. Plus then I usually remember that there are others known to be buried there who do not even have FindAGrave memorials so I should make a more concerted attempt to get them up so their families know where they are...so I thank you and Mr Beckner for reminding me.

Tracy's
Hi Pamela. I added that photo of Jonathan Tracy's cenotaph to the memorial for his wife Victoria. Sorry if that has caused confusion on his burial in Swedona's Western Cemetery. I get the idea that he was likely buried by his first wife and the marker in New Windsor has his name on it simply as a memorial. I also added a somewhat better picture of Victoria's part of the stone. It is a beautiful stone but it doesn't photograph easily due to the color. Feel free to delete the first photo if you'd like. I did put a caption on the photo for Jonathan, noting that his actual burial is believed to be in Western Cemetery.

I spotted your photo request for John A. Sanquist. I recall seeing Ida's stone when I was there last week. She is buried right near the big Tracy marker. The John Sanquist grave isn't near Ida at all. I recall seeing Ida's stone and the fact that it said Mother so I was looking for one next to her assuming a husband would be buried by her but there wasn't a Sanquist man buried next to her.

RE: Jonathan Tracy memorial
He had a plot in Swedona. That does not mean he actually got buried there. Cemetery records are known to have errors.

RE: Jonathan Tracy memorial
I took the info from the cemetery records. He may have bought a plot in Swedona but the family buried him in New Windsor. If you find that he really is not buried in Swedona, please let me know so I can delete it. There have been a lot of mistakes found on these records.

Tracy's in Mercer County, Illinois
Hi Pamela. I have transferred the three Tracy family members per your request. For future reference please note the Find A Grave rules on transfer requests.

"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."

It is not necessary to maintain the memorial in order to contribute additional data. You can always do that via the EDIT options.
