Thank you for all the work you have done on my family. I am 29 and live in NE Iowa. My Grandfather is Chester Edward Mojzak. All I really know about him and my great grandparents are what you have posted. Thanks again. Emily

Thank you very much for adding the photos to my relatives (Harley & Perscis McClain) in the Marne Cemetery! When we took a drive over there we could not find their stones, though we did find those of her family.

Take care,

Thanks for the update and your efforts. I'm sorry you were on a wild goose chase. If this helps -- the Hanrahans had three daughters who never married and lived in GR their entire life. I was told on the phone that they are all buried together and I would be surprised if they don't have a gravestone.

John Hanrahan - father
Mary - mother

Agnes - daughter
Angela - daughter
Mary E. (may be Martha?)- daughter

Hi Loisann,

I think the photos are wonderful. I just want to accurately reflect the birth and death dates on the grave stones. Can you at your photos and see if I have this right?

Henry - (March 21, 1856 to June 27, 1937)
Eleanor - (August 19, 1855 to Jan 2, 1937)
Charles - (August 25, 1882 to April 7, 1904)

Thank you for doing such a beautiful job.

Mary Beth

RE: greenwood grand Rapids

I just got in touch with the cemeteries you will be at tomorrow and added lit info. I hope it means something ...

Also checked both graves have family members right with them. Could you take those pictures too as I am trying to get dates so I can look for death records and obits.

Mamie (probably Mary Emperor Hanrahan - wife)
Martha Mary (probably Mary E.- daughter)

Charles - son

Thanks for your help. I don't have dates on these people and this will further my research.

Thank you so much.

Oops! That should have been Oakhill Cemetery in my reply, not "Oak Valley."

Added by lilgreenbean on Jun 24, 2009 11:44 AM

I researched more into this, and the last name is spelled, "Daane." They are buried in the southern section of Oak Valley Cemetery. This is an area which was once, "Valley City Cemetery," prior to the property being sold and combined with Oak Valley Cemetery. From what I have read, there are more burials in this section than there are headstones. According to the records I located, there are at least 7 Daane burials there.

Jozina & Huibregt Dane
Thank you for your effort in trying to locate the headstones for Jozina & Huibregt Dane. I have a feeling that the spelling of the surname is quite different, since Dutch names tend to change in spelling over generations. Thank you again!

Holy Cross WTF?
I read your notes too about Holy Cross. They are only allowing 2 lookups a day and they're going to charge as well?

That is not right whatsoever. You are doing a service for others not doing this for your own personal gain.

That's just rude! :)
