|Kelly Austin||Joh. Martin Reisinger|
I was wondering if you could tell me where you found the information for Joh. Martin Reisinger. Your post says that he was buried in Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in 1782 and listed additional information regarding where he came from, etc. I am trying to determine if he is related to my Reisinger family that was in Frederick in the very early 1800's.
Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much for your help.

Thank you for your quick reply. Arizona archives death certificate had birth month of April.
Here is the link to it http://genealogy.az.gov/azdeath/089/10890288.pdf
I guess it is fifty/fifty either way. Your military records should be as good as the death certificate for accuracy.

|Scott Hunt||Seaman 2/c James B Bowers|
Hi Max, I found where James B Bowers Find A Grave #62186565 is buried at, at first he was listed as being buried on the Island of Guam, but I found where he and four others boys were brought back to be buried here in the states. The newspaper story says he was layed to rest at (Old) Saint Joseph Cemetery in Emmitsburg, Frederick County, Md, if you could change his burial from unknown or Guam to Saint Joseph Cemetery, Thanks so much, Scott

|Linda Lenhard||Aley Hubbard|
I thought you would be interested in knowing about the following. A picture was just uploaded of Aley,Harrison Baker Miller and his second wife, Edith Cook Taylor Miller. The one who posted it is Arlene Roberts. Do you know her? She is part of the family. I've asked her to add the picture to Aley's memorial. If you have any pictures of Aley, would you mind sharing them.
I've never asked, but who do you call kin in our family?
I'm assuming you are a member of the LDS Church with the Temple as your picture. I am also. I am so glad for others who are helping us with the work.

|Gerald Steffy||RE: Arthur Byars|
Arthur Bowen Byars is the son of John Byars, Jr., and Nancy Agnes Bowen. I have worked on the family recently as John Byars, Jr., and Nancy Agnes Bowen who were related to Arthur Bowen and Mary McMurray (Nancy was their daughter) and granddaughter of Lily Bowen, a Revolutionary patriot that I just proved for SAR. John and Nancy were my 4 great Grandparents. Susan P. Blessing was the wife of Arthur Bowen Byars.

|Johnny||Anna Waltman ?|
I received your suggestion/correction email regarding John C. Waltman and checked through my research. The photo of the gravestone that I have on my family tree lists his wife as Anna R. born 1916. I have the Waltman family listed in my family tree. I am also closely related to the Steele family within Chester County and Cecil County, Maryland. I would be interested in that connection as well. A Steele connection would also answer to why a death date is not listed for her on the headstone with John. Perhaps she was buried with her 2nd husband.....the unknown Steele. I'm intrigued. I'll start researching this line more, and would love to hear from you about other possible Steele connections and anything you might learn about Anna.

|Deb Sloan||Edward Nichols|
I was always told that Edward Nichols and his siblings, William? (called Uncle Will) and sister Virginia were Orphans and a farm family took them in and had them work for their board and room.
I was told that the kids were fathered by different men and not married? My Mom never uttered a word regarding this.....which they didn't talk about a lot of things.
"Papa" came out here from back east, to look for work and sent for my grandmother and baby (Margaret) settling in Big Lake and working in the logging industry.
Are you sure about George Nichols is his father?
Thanks Deb Sloan

Very interesting about her two previous husbands! I have updated her memorial. I also just sent off a letter to her son, Robert Sunde, so cross your fingers that he responds. And, her step-son, Richard Wootton, is on Facebook so I sent him a message. Thanks for pointing out her other husbands, Barbara. It opened a new doorway to more information!

You can review Mr. Nichols' application and file for Retsil online for free at www.digitalarchives.wa.gov. I made his bio from it. It can be found under the Military Records tab. You can also have the WA State Library look up his obit through an online form available (Ask A Librarian Washington). If you want his memorial, drop me a request through the EDIT tab. Yes, you are correct, sorry I wasn't more clear. The Jacob M Hoff in Sandymount is most likely John Hoff's son. Charlie

Hi Barbara; When I put the Lewis Hoff (Sandy Mount - Pleasant Grove) photo up, I noticed there is now a story that Lewis, John, and Jacob were brothers. Do you know who supplied that info? I'd like to know if, and how, that is verified. It's something I suspected but couldn't prove.
